Finally got a chance to read you story, and of course it didn't disappoint :) I loved the way your worked in some gender politics, but never at the expense of sexiness; if anything, Wade seemed a bit too "sane" in those moments, but that's hardly a criticism--the benefit of his instability means you can write him however you want. Hands down my favourite part was midway through, with Wade watching Dakholme and Logan together. I love the way you used having a third person to its full potential there, as a way to naturalize and justify the reader's voyeurism--very hot. And of course I loved the kiss at the end, with the implication of it being "the most intimate thing Darkholme could think of." I thought about it that way, too, in a Logurt--that sex is one thing but kissing is something else, something more dangerous.

One subjective thing... I love that you do so many scenes from Darkholme's perspective, getting into how things might feel for him, etc. But I wish you'd done a bit more with his tail in those parts. I know you had a bit with him having some mixed feelings about Logan touching his tail in your first Logan/Darkholme fic, so I guess I was interested to see how his thinking has evolved on the subject by the time of this story. Does he like Logan touching his tail, now? And what has that manifestation of intimacy come it represent for him, etc.? But yeah, totally subjective--always wanting more details about Kurt's tail might just be my own personal obsession :P

What caught me and held me rapt throughout this story was the incredible depth of emotion between Logan and Darkholme. There was so much unsaid that resonated between the words. I simply had to read this through, and the end was sublime and fitting.

You have a marvelous talent for nuance and subtle intimacy. Just superb!

Ah, purely sexy reading! These guys have some good chemistry together. I liked the stories with just pairs, but this was a good follow-up to the two previous ones. I enjoyed the mood and theme of the story -- Wade was a good choice to deliver insight, as he seems to do it accidentally. Of course anything with Darkholme and Logan is going to be very very hot. Well done! (Hmm...not sure if the first review took. Ignore this if it's a duplicate.)
