    Rahne Sinclair sat in class doodling and daydreaming, the class was history which normally enthralled her but today she had other things on her mind, like wondering if she had enough protective gear for her first lesson in inline skating with Jubilee. Something about the wind in her hair and all the glory it’d bring to her heightened senses just left her longing to skip, but instead she was here with Mister McCoy talking about the Hundred Year War and hoping class wouldn’t take that long. It was almost funny as she started drawing a picture of a wolf in skates looking very much like Bambi on ice, a little self deprecating humour she mused. Her peers sat around her, Betsy and Kitty passing notes, Piotr doodling much as she had been, and finally Sam Guthrie looking very attentively at their teacher even though she knew his sunglasses weren’t fooling anyone as he caught a nap.

   Times like this she realized that Mister McCoy did have a fine sense of humour watching as he strode down the ranks of the students until he stood next to Sam, picking up the boys textbook and balancing it on his head as he regarded the clock. Giggles erupted from the class to which the blue furred mutant simply held a finger to his lips asking for quiet, even as they all knew the bell would be ringing any minute note. Not to be outdone Bobby quickly added two pens and a marker between the boys lips, earning a wink from Henry. So it came as the bell finally rang and ended the days lessons that Sam Guthrie jolted awake, his text book falling down on his desk with a shocking clap even as he tried to dislodge a pen from his mouth he had bit down on, ink marring his lips.

   “Please remember your reading over the weekend, I did try to keep it light hearing of the workload several of your instructors left you with. I cannot say for certain if there will be a pop quiz on Monday, but as I am to administer them periodically you may find the reading to be of benefit.” The thing Rahne always liked about Mister McCoy was his fairness, always keeping up with his peers as to try and stave off any unwarranted cram sessions, that and his sense of humour. The moment she’d been waiting for all day finally arrived though as she raced on down to the lockers, stashing her books and getting her knapsack loaded with everything she’d need. A quick stop at the gym change room had her wearing her form fitting shorts and top, knee pads, skates, wrist guards and helmet.

   Confident enough to skate through the school several of the boys threw her looks as she gave them winks back, knowing damn well she looked fit in her shorts and top, a creamy deep green that complimented her red locks. Just over five feet she was considered petite to most, alluring long red hair and emerald eyes that left more than her share of boys entrances by the depths they contained. It didn’t hurt that she was rather buxom as well, curves in all the right places Marie had joked to her once on a shopping trip. Finally she met Jubilee in the parking lot where the first of the lessons were to take place, the proverbial pixie of a girl already covered in a sheen of sweat wearing nothing more than a yellow T with some denim cut offs that hugged the girls ass smartly.

   “Rahne!” The enthusiasm in the girls voice left her feeling giddy at the thought of the lesson, something about Jubilee always had an infectious way of shifting the mood of the moment. “You look like you’re ready to meet our deer friend Mister Pavement girl.” The grin on Jubilee’s lips left her smiling despite herself, having seen enough times she had wiped out after pulling some stunt, only her heavy duty construction gloves to guard her hands against road rash, scrapes and cuts bleeding down her legs and knees held as badges of honour to this impish girl. “Hi Mister Pavement.”

   Jubilee only laughed at the small joke, instead taking her hands in her own as she drew Rahne forward while she effortlessly skated backwards. “Alright, thankfully you don’t have that stupid break at the back of your skates, that’ll just have you falling on your ass faster. Gotta keep that mint, more so the way you shake those hips girl.” Smiling despite herself Rahne nodded, noticing the appreciative way Jubilee admired her derriere. “Alright, to get some speed you got two ways of doing it, thrusting those thighs as you push with one foot keeping the other where you wanna head, or just letting gravity take over.” She could already feel her thighs burning with effort as she struggled to keep up with her lithe teacher, knowing now how hard she worked for her shapely legs with this pastime.

   “And here is why I love this school so much, look at all the trails they have here, sweet sweet asphalt everywhere and nobody ever uses it!” Jubilee had spun about to face her, the wind ruffling and catching her shirt casting glimpses of what lay beneath, creamy skin and a black bra straps, a hint of matching negligee peeking from the girls shorts. Despite the effort to keep her balance as they raced down the trails together Rahne couldn’t help but notice, grinning to herself as she wondered just what that bra looked like. For as much as she liked the looks the boys gave her, she knew she wouldn’t mind seeing a few of the girls throw a few glances her way either, and of all of them it was Jubilee who now raced on before her she had found she’d been crushing on the most recently, an offhand remark about teaching her to skate once leaving her in the present predicament as she recovered in time to not meet Mister Pavement.

   Jubilee spun about again, thrusting her thighs as she pushed forward, leaving Rahne with a view to die for, her fit buttocks flexing again and again for her even as she looked down the girls long legs, wondering how they’d feel. Whatever jeans had been sacrificed for the cutoffs the girl wore surely were resting in peace, so snug and hip hugging that Rahne didn’t even notice the turn ahead as Jubilee spun about to face her once more. “Lean into the curve.” How Rahne wanted to do that right now as she looked up to her, suddenly noticing the worry written over her face. “What?”

   Before she could do anything she was hurtling through the air to tackle her resigned friend, panicking as she saw the turn ahead that she’d failed to notice for her enjoyment of the figure before of her. She could see the way Jubilee looked unworried even as it happened, spinning about at the last second to prepare for it as she threw her hands forward to bite into the turf. So it was that Rahne had tackled the girl from behind, throwing her arms forward in a panic even as she tried to prevent the disaster coming, her kneepads digging deep into the grass as both of them cried out. Finally opening her eyes she realized she was kneeling on the grass with Jubilee’s buttocks pressed firmly against her in a way that felt so nice, loving the feel of her chest against the girls back even as Jubilee swore and rolled over.

   Concern finally hit her as she looked down to her bleeding knees, scratched and torn by the sudden skid through the grass. “I’m so sorry Jubilee!” For half truths it had to due, maybe if the girl had worn some kneepads she could have enjoyed the moment a little longer, instead she looked at the long streaks of blood running down her shapely calves. “Don’t worry Girl, it’s just a scatch, Mister Grass isn’t a big pain in the ass like Mister Pavement.” It seemed so funny to be hearing her talking so much like some children’s book, those silly loveable cartoons of characters like Mister Daydream and Mister Tickle.

   “We should get you to Mister McCoy or Jean, look at all the blood!” The very blood that called to another part of Rahne’s soul, that bestial part that wanted to claim what it saw before her as its own. Fighting against the urge to shift, she could feel the growl on her lips even as it tore free. “Uh, Earth to Rahne, you okay girl?” Reigning control once more, Rahne looked down to Jubilee to see the worry in the girls eyes, not an ounce of fear to be seen despite the reputation she had about the school for her temper. “Uh, the blood, it just had me...but I’m better now.” Even better seeing the smile Jubilee offered Rahne mused, suddenly realizing as she looked down she could see the silky bra the girl had underneath her T, wondering idly if the panties matched it as much as they looked.

   “I’m so sorry, I totally had a brain fart and forgot you got that whole Jane of the Jungle thing going on that Logan rocks. It’s nothing really, just a scratch. The Boat House has a first aid kit though, could get me cleaned up for ya so we could get you some more practice if you want?” Smiling Rahne reluctantly rose to her feet, offering the girl before her a hand up. The wind shifted as Jubilee found her footing, the scent of blood and grass mixing with that fruity bodywash she used, that bestial part of Rahne’s mind breathing deep, that part of her preying on the borders of her mind even as she felt the thought pierce her, a single word, Mine.

   The boat house wasn’t far from where they found themselves thankfully, no more than a ten minute skate that left Rahne admiring the view before her again. Jubilee seemed different though now, less carefree as she fussed, her thumb running along the waist of her shorts, running her fingers through her hair again and again as the wind mussed it. The boat house finally emerged from the canopy of trees that hid it and the lakefront beyond. According to local legend it had been the guest house of the late Xavier’s, Charles’s parents years before, though now it served more as a hang out that few visited. The girls removed their skates and tread in socked feet along the dock until finally climbing aboard, Jubilee quickly finding the first aid kid as if it were an old friend.

   “Not your first time?” Rahne asked with a smirk on her lips, looking at the girl who just barely stood over her. “Yeah, I make sure to keep it well stocked in all the basics, bandages, gauze, rubbing alcohol.” Throwing them out onto the coffee table she jumped onto the sofa even as she looked for some cotton swabs. The blood on her knees looked a mess, half dried and gummy, it’d need to be cleaned off even before they could finally wrap the wounds or put a rather large bandage on them. “Jeez Jubes, haven’t you heard of hydrogen peroxide? Same action, less sting.” The grin Jubilee gave her reminded her so much of a pixie even as she opened a bottle of the rubbing alcohol. “My mom only allowed rubbing alcohol in the house, and her and dad were both doctors. She always said if I were going to partake of this idiots sport then I’d find no sympathy at home when it came time to clean my cuts. Said I’d learn to stop falling down and be careful this way.”

   The wistful look in her eyes left Rahne shocked at the admission, knowing Jubilee had too been orphaned before her time at Xavier’s yet rarely talking about her parents. Picking up a cotton swab Rahne gently took the bottle from her hands, determined to at least take care of Jubilee since it had been her own mistake that had lead to this. “Let me.” Soaking the swab in the disinfectant she gently dabbed at the cuts, noticing the tears that welled in her sapphire eyes as she did so, yet not even a single hiss of a pain passed her lips. “Guessing you’ve met Mister Pavement a lot huh?” Jubilee only nodded, making small fists with her hands even as Rahne cleaned the bloody mess.

   The swabs piled up in the waste bin she had found, until finally the rent flesh stood open to the air. It honestly didn’t look that bad now, she guessed Jubilee must just have been the type to bleed easily despite her rough and tumble attitude. Sitting with the girls legs in her lap she felt a playful idea tug at her, thinking back to her own time at the orphanage until Moira had finally adopted her. The Scottish scientist had seen in her something none of the others had, had seen the scared girl she had been even as she put on a gruff exterior. That very same woman had a time honoured way for healing all cuts she earned, Rahne reaching down to Jubilee’s knees and planting butterfly kisses upon them. “Me mum would do this when I’d take a tumble, said it’d make everything all better.” Smiling she noticed a blush fall across Jubilee’s cheeks, planting another kiss on the other knee even as the girl took a sharp breath in.

   “Did I hurt you?” Worried she might have done so she pulled up from the kisses, looking to the girl across from her and noticing the way she returned the worried gaze. The blush was still there, but there was something she hadn’t seen before in her eyes, it was only as she caught Jubilee’s scent that she felt emboldened. It was the same scent she caught off Marie as she longingly looked after her beau, Remy LeBeau as he walked past. Kissing her knee again she heard another hiss drawn over her lips, this time gently rubbing the calf of the girls leg as she did so, feeling how soft the flesh felt against her fingers. Kissing the other knee once more this time she worked her hands up her calves, stroking gently as she peeked up from her red locks to find Jubilee arching her head back with her eyes closed.

   “Feeling better?” The silent nod she received lead her on, twisting on the sofa until she was lying back with Jubilee’s legs running up her chest with her ankles laying upon her shoulders. Her own legs ran to either side of her as she scooted herself forward, closing the distance a little even as Rahne watched her lay her head down on the cushions. Lazily she drew her fingers up the girls calves again, this time tucking her fingers into the girls socks, effortlessly pulling them free. With one hand she traced circles on the captive foot, her other hand roaming down the girls toned legs to toy with the fabric of her cutoffs.

   “Wow.” Jubilee breathed, opening her sapphire eyes as she looked up to Rahne, a smile on her lips as her hand reached for Rahne’s own. To her surprise Jubilee laid it over her stomach that had peeked out as her T fell back suggestively. Taking her lead she ran her hand over her flesh, loving how smooth it felt even as her hand disappeared under the shirt. She’d have to find something softer for next time she mused even as the two scampered to the shower, Rahne throwing her sports top free finally. What had started innocently enough had ended far from innocent, the girl who had been her friend now her lover. As the first waves of heat washed over her, she hugged the slightly taller girl, nuzzling her back with her nose.   Whatever stories they’d have to tell for their absence for the day could wait till later, for now she simply wrapped her arms possessively about Jubilee, whispering that simple little word in her ear and feeling the nod of admission in reply, “Mine.”
