A brunette girl giggled a bit, and waved, “See you tomorrow Kiara.”
“Later, Paisley,” Kiara called back, waving to her classmate before heading down the side walk. Suddenly a hand landed on her shoulder, “Hey woman.”
Kiara turned to look over her shoulder and felt a slight fluttering in her stomach at the person before her. The red hair, in a classic boy cut, slightly mussed. The shocking electric blue eyes returning her gaze, and the cheeky, playful smile spread across thin lips. One hand stuck in his jeans pocket, while the other balanced a cigarette between two fingers. The smoke carried over to her on the back of the early winter breeze. The warm smell of his cigarettes, filling her nasals and mixedwith the blended scent of aged spices and his 3-in-1 Axe… it was him. The look, the scents it was Zac.
“I thought you had plans today,” Kiara asked, carefully, turning to face him.
“Got cancelled,” Zac replied.
His casual response concerned Kiara, knowing when he was dismissive like this it usually meant something big. But what could it be? There was only one thing she could think to ask, “Why?”
Zac shrugged a bit, “Something happened.”
“You’re healthy, right?” Kiara asked.
“I mean… you really cut back on the cigarettes, I thought you’d quit,” Kiara admitted.
Zac shrugged as he flicked the half remaining cigarette away, “I needed to calm my nerves.”
Kiara’s brows knitted together, “Something is wrong… isn’t it?”
“No... I mean… I don’t think so,” Zac replied, shrugging a little.
He smiled at Kiara, “Can I walk with you?”
Kiara nodded a bit as they continued on together. She in her school uniform, and him in his street clothes. They’d walked almost aimlessly for a bit before he inquired, “I thought you had a ballet lesson.”
“I’m skipping it,” Kiara admitted.
Zac smirked, “Rebellious… I love it. The picture perfect daughter of Senator Payton and Business Tycoon Nathaniel Payton actually breaks a few rules.”
Kiara could feel her face heat up instantly at the words, “Hey. It isn’t like that! I just… you’re acting really strange, Zachary.”
Zac sighed and nodded a bit, “I know… I just… I couldn’t keep the secret anymore I… I like you. I think about you all the time I… I don’t know what to do with myself. I just… “
He was cut off by her lips on his, he quickly returned the kiss, a lightness taking over inside of him as he wrapped his arms around Kiara. He began kissing her with a bit more force while slowly leading them into a nearby ally. After a while Kiara came up for breath, panting. She gasped a bit when she felt his cold hand that had been on her back slip down ward, then up her blouse. She shook her head, beginning to regain her senses. Zac’s mouth was soon back on her lips, he moaned into her mouth as he gently cupped a small breast in his hand. His other hand carrassed her thigh, lifting the leg up to cradle him at her core. He pressed himself against her and softly groaned.
‘Wait a minute,’ Kiara thought to herself as she remembered what Zac had told her about his prosthetic ‘equiptment’ that past summer. She turned her head away from the teenaged man in front of her.
He hungrily captured her mouth with his while he kept her pinned against a wall, his hand had snaked under the skirt of her school uniform, his fingers vibrating against her clit with expert precision and pressure. Though she still wore her underwear she couldn’t help but gasp into his mouth.
After a moment she heard a zipper unfastening and tried to break free. He held her in place and sent a moderate shock of electricity through her body. It wasn’t enough to severely harm her, but enough to cause the same effect as a shock collar on a dog being trained.
He glared at her in anger, “I’ll make you pay for that.”
She paled, her blue eyes widening as panic set in realizing what was going on and she tried to squeeze her legs closed while she attempted to move her arms. The hand that held her wrists gripped her tighter, and he wedged his knee between her thighs.
“I don’t think so. I get what I want,” the teenaged boy before her growled. At least she thought he was a teenaged boy. He remarkably resembled one she knew quite well. He had mimicked everything, his hair, his eyes, his voice, his height, scent, even his personality except for one huge difference.
“Let go of me,” she demanded trying again to fight off the mutant in front of her.
The free hand now gripped her throat as she was pushed down to the ground by the larger person, he climbed on top of her and quickly ripped off her panties.
‘Caleb! Caleb! Zac! Help me,’ The girl thought to herself frantically as she watched the boy’s motions. She knew what was coming, she knew what was happening. Her mother had warned her some men were like this, even Caleb had cautioned her. She was prepared for a human male to be this way and knew how to defend herself. Against a mutant, even worse, a shape shifter, who seemed to also acquire the powers of the mutants they took the form of? She was helpless, and she knew it.
Survive. That’s all that mattered, she had to survive. With tears streaming out of her eyes and down the side of her head, Kiara closed her eyes and waited for it to be over. She felt the pain of him tearing through her barrier, but bit her lip and kept quiet. This wasn’t right. It wasn’t supposed to be some stranger she’d never know the identity of. It should be the boy whose form this person had taken on. It should be Zac.
Kiara tried to disconnect herself from the situation, to ignore the sounds of heavy breathing, grunts, and the occasional moan that this sick freak show emitted as he moved inside of her. After what seemed like an eternity, he let out a let out a gasp as his hips jerked forward. His eyes lidded as he shuttered and held still inside of her.
Kiara instantly felt sick to her stomach, realizing what must’ve just happened. She wouldn’t get pregnant, though, right? Well, she definitely wouldn’t if it was the real Zac. There’d be no way. Disease, that’s all she had to worry about… and confidentiality given who her mother was.
He gave a contented sigh as he left her body, a hand reaching down to absent mindedly stroke himself a little. A tiny amount of creamy white fluid left him and his dick began to relax to its flaccid state. He smirked at Kiara and commented, “That’s much better. I needed that.”
“You sick fuck,” Kiara growled in a near whisper.
The ‘boy’ quirked a brow at Kiara.
“Even if I didn’t already know you weren’t Zac… I’d know now. There’s no way he’d be like that,” Kiara stated.
A hand came up and struck Kiara across the face, and everything went black for her.
Caleb’s eyes shot open, hot angry tears streaming down his face as he lowered his hands from either side of Kiara’s head.
He made a few strangled noises before he wrapped his little sister tightly in his arms, not bothering to try to hide the droplets of sorrow-filled water that fell from his emerald eyes and streaked his cheeks, “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry, Kiara.”
“I should’ve known better,” Kiara choked out as she returned Caleb’s embrace.
Caleb found himself swallowing a lump he’d swear could’ve choked an elephant, only managing to reply with, “Shh.”
His embrace around his only sibling tightened as much as he was able to tighten it without hurting her.
“I’m never leaving your side again. Not ever. If you go into the girl’s room, I’m waiting outside and maintaining a psychic link while you’re in there,” Caleb vowed, completely oblivious to any wrong meaning that could be taken from it.
“Umm… don’t you think that’s a bit awkward? Can’t we just agree to send Sky in with me,” Kiara asked, nervousness evident in her tone.
Elizabeth sat with her mouth covered by her hand, tears had filled her eyes, but refused to fall. Nate was sitting with his head hung, not allowing anyone to see his facial expression while Jason looked about ready to kill the next person to say ‘boo’ to his step-daughter.
Zac inwardly sighed from the door way, they’d all been linked in to Caleb when he was reading Kiara’s mind.
‘That’s what she meant on the roof,’ Zac thought to himself.
Skylar wordlessly stepped forward, placing the pregnancy test that Kiara had taken at the mall on the coffee table. Two faint lines were visible.
Liz sighed a bit, “Well… this kind of works out in a way… I’m pregnant too. So I think what we could do is tell everyone that they’re triplets. That way it gives a sense of anonymity to your baby, and you can continue on with school.”
“No. I mean… I want to continue with school but,” Kiara bit her lip and glanced to Zac for a moment before looking away.
“This might well be my only child,” Kiara voiced her concern in giving up custody of the unborn.
Nate looked up and let out an audible groan, his fingers running through his blonde wavy locks, tugging slightly at the strands of gold.
After a moment he suggested, “Maybe Kiara should live with me for the first little bit. I can work from home once the baby’s born… she won’t have to worry about child care... and she can still attend school if we do it this way… but she wouldn’t be giving up custody.”
Zac stayed silent at the archway, suddenly finding the pattern in the wood of the floor intriguing, a memory from the past summer filled his mind, spawned by the current conversation.
“I know Dad stayed home with Cal and I when we were babies… it was easier for him to since he generally worked from home anyway… Mom took a month off each time and then went back to work,” Kiara admitted.
Zac nodded, “Sounds like he was in it to a parent to both of you… No matter what.”
Kiara nodded against his chest, shifting her head so she could listen to his heartbeat. After another brief silence she asked another question, “Think you’d ever want kids, Zac?”
Zac blinked a bit and sighed a little, “That’s a loaded question, actually. I don’t know. I mean I like kids... but I don’t know if I’m the type of person that should raise them…”
The scarlet haired trans boy scowled while he thought to himself, ‘I still don’t think I’m kind of person that should raise a kid… if she knew… if she knew all of it… what if they came after the kid to get to me? I can’t protect them from everything in my past… and the worst… the worst is…’
He felt his hand balling into a fist as he headed towards the back patio doors.
Skylar watched Zac leave and waited a moment before following him, 'what are you doing?'
