Loki looked at his brother. Thor stepped forward.
"My lady, please forgive me for the intrusion. My brother has again broken the rules strictly laid down by my father. Last night he returned to Jotunheim and killed 20 Frost Giant guards. He means to start another war with them."
Freyja held up her hand.
"That will be quite enough Thor. Your brother was nowhere near Jotunheim last night. I know that for a fact."
Thor looked between her and Loki. His head was still bowed but Thor could still see his sly smirk. Anger welled within him. He picked Loki up by the throat with one swift movement. Loki struggled against him grasping at his bother's large hands.
"Thor! That is quite enough!" Her voice was like venom. Painful and biting.
Thor dropped Loki on the floor. He lay there gasping for air, choking on nothing. Freyja made her way down the staircase, her eyes glowing emerald in anger. Thunder shook the throne room. The nebulas overhead now cracking with black lightnening. Thor dropped his beloved Mjolnir to the floor as Freyja pushed him down against the stairs. Thor knew he had made a mistake. Angering her was the last thing anyone would ever want to do. He had seen what he wrath could bring. She gripped the front of his armor and pulled him close to her.
"If you ever do anything like that in my own throne room again, I will make sure that when you die, Thor, son of Odin, no Valkyrie comes for you and your soul is left to wander the worlds alone and in unrest."
Thor nodded to her. He gently put his hand on her's. As if to remind her that he was not there to hurt or threaten her. She helped him to his feet and moved back to her throne. Loki stood tentatively behind his brother who had seemed to soften.
"I would be interested to know who perpetrated his attack on Jotunheim. I assure you Thor, your bother was here all night. If he would have left, I would have known immidiately. For now, I think it would be wise to return to Asgaurd and see what you can find out about this attack. Loki will remain here where I can keep a close eye on him. Understand?"
Thor nodded once again and turned to exit the throne room. Just before he went through the massive doors Freyja called out to him."
"Oh and Thor, if you come bombarding through my bedroom door again, I will place you in my personal dungeon....and that is a promise."
