I Do Not Own Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes

Bella woke up early feeling safe and warm. She had really missed being with him. She had been wake for only a month and the Professor had wanted to make sure there would be no relapse and to test how much control she had over her own powers. It also gave them time to track him down. Even she knew that it would take time since Hulk never been in one place before because he was always being hunted. But she was glad when to find out when they found him that he was no longer being hunted. There were still a lot of things she didn't understand about how things were done, but she knew she would in time.

She carefully got off of him, feeling hungry and really needing to find the bathroom. She gave him a soft kiss on his cheek before completely getting off him and the bed. She slowly walked over to the door, being careful not to wake Hulk. Once out the door she set out trying to find the bathroom. Eventually she got so lost she sat down on floor and hoped someone would soon find and help her. Luckily she wasn't waiting long before she saw Captain America walking down the hall. He stopped once he was close her.

“Good morning Bella. Is there something you need that I could you with?” ( He asked

Bella smiled up at him before standing up. “Well I want take shower and then make some breakfast for everyone.”

Captain nodded before leading her to Janet's bathroom. Janet was wide wake and allowed her in. Janet also let her borrow any clothes of hers she liked to. Once Bella was in the shower Janet took off to see if Hank was wake.

Two hours later.....

Hulk slowly woke and realized what wrong. Bella was no longer beside him and that made him sad and angry. Rushing out of his room, he set off to find her. He ran down every hall before knocking Janet and Captain over.

“Whoa big guy. Where's the fire at?” Janet asked getting up

“Where Bella?” Hulk grunted out

Captain understood now why Hulk was acting this way. Hulk had just been reunited with Bella yesterday and probably was not expecting her to leave his side anytime soon.

“She woke up about two hours ago wanting go to the bathroom and to the kitchen to eat. I bet she is still in the kitchen cooking.” he said before falling ground once again as Hulk rushed to the kitchen

True to Captain’s word, Bella was still in the kitchen cooking up a wonderful breakfast for everyone. She was currently cooking bacon, eggs, pancakes and hash browns. Her hair was pulled back into a low pony tail. She was wearing jeans and a light red tank top. Hulk sighed sadly, but with a small smile. He was happy she was still here, but sad that he couldn't help her or have her wake with him.

Bella turned and smiled at him. She stopped stirring the pancake batter on the counter before walking towards him. She wrapped her arms around him, feeling him relax bit before he wrapped his arms around her smaller frame. He buried his face deep into her hair before sighing happily. Bella rubbed his back gently before pulling back a bit to look into his eyes.

“I'm sorry for worrying you Hulk. You like to help me finish making the food?” she asked

Hulk nodded before allowing her to back away to pour the pancake mix into the pan. He slowly walked up to her, watching her cook. She slowly turned to him.

“Could you set (the) table and take cooked food to the table. Make sure no one touches it before everyone is down here and I'm done cooking.” she said

Hulk nodded before doing what she asked. Soon everyone was awake and sitting around the table. Tony had tried to dig in, but with one glance from Hulk he quickly stopped, waiting for Bella to finish the pancakes. Once done, Hulk finally sat down while Bella set the pans she used into sink before grabbing a plate for herself and taking a seat by the counter. Before she was able to turn completely she found her self on Hulk's knee. She looked up at him.

“Bella not want sit with Hulk?” he asked softy

Bella looked up into his eyes, smiling lightly. “ Of course I do Hulk it's just that there no room at the table for me.” and with that Hulk moved his plate over enough for hers.

Bella smiled before feeling his hand tighten around her, keeping her on his knee. The others were in shock, except for Captain America. He knew there was a softer side to Hulk, but no one ever really got to see it because he was always being hunted and forced to fight. It was nice to see Hulk so happy and relaxed.

While it was true Hulk didn't speak much, that didn't seem stop Bella from talking to him and everyone else around their table. Soon everyone was done eating. Just when Bella was about to clean up Captain America stopped her.

“Bella you shouldn't have to clean up and do dishes after cooking such a wonderful meal.” He paused, then turned to Hank and Tony. “You two do dishes for her. After all she could have just made food for herself and Hulk but she was kind to make rest of us food.” with that Hank started gathering up dishes and washing them.

Tony stood there for while,watching Hank wash the dishes while Bella and Hulk just relaxed at table. Captain glared at Tony until he decided to pitch in finishing up with dishes.

Soon everyone was heading down to the training room. Captain wanted to teach Hulk a different way of punching than just smashing everything to the ground. He wanted to teach him a method to control that temper and punch. But it seem seemed not work, like last time. This time Hulk was trying harder to understand Captain America's lesson, but it seemed that he still wasn't getting it. He wanted to impress Bella by doing this.

Bella decided to see if she could help. Carefully stepping over and under the rope of boxing ring, she made her way to him. “Cap' let me try to explain what you've been trying to teach him.”

Captain nodded, figuring she might have a better chance than anyone else. “OK Hulk, I understand what Captain here is trying teach you. Would like me to explain it better for you?” she asked

Hulk quickly nodded. He would do anything she asked him to. “Alright Hulk I'm going show you by using Captain as a target. Cap' won't do anything while I do, right.” she turned to Captain.

Hulk raised an eyebrow at Captain. Captain looked at them before nodding. “Yes Hulk. I'll let Bella attack and I won't strike back.” he said

Hulk nodded, feeling satisfied that Bella wouldn't get hurt by Captain. Hulk stepped back into one of the corners of the ring, giving them somespace. Hulk paid special attention to her, watching her arms go up and her fist aiming for Captain's face before stopping inch away from his cheek. She did it a few times before turning back to Hulk.

“Alright Big Guy, do you understand what Captain was trying to teach you now?” she asked him

Hulk nodded, finding her example was more help than Captain or anyone else in the matter. “Alright, you want try it out on a punching bag then?” she asked him

Hulk nodded again before getting out of the ring. He stepped on the lower ropes while holding up the upper ropes waiting for her. Bella smiled brightly at him before following him. Captain followed them over to a punching bag. He gripped the bag, waiting for Hulk to punch.

Hulk lifted Bella up on a stool that was near the punching bag. Gently he set her down before turning to the punching bag. Bella just smiled at him before watching him punch the bag. After a few punches Hulk stopped. He walked towards Bella and looked her straight in the eye.

“Hulk doesn't like this way of punching. Hulk likes his way.” he said

Bella smiled before hugging him. “Well that's alright Hulk you don't have change your style of fighting. The Cap here was trying show you a new way of punching.”

Hulk nodded before hugging her back. He nuzzled her hair, just loving how good she smelled. Captain stepped back, letting them have their moment.

The others just smiled, except for Tony who frowned. Tony couldn't help but over hear what Thor and Janet were talking about.

“I can see why Hulk loves her so much.” Thor said

Janet looked up at him. “Do you really think that Thor?” she asked

Thor just smiled. “Not think, I know friend Janet. Hulk is acting like man that has found his love. He treats her with utmost respect and values her option above all others. He treats her like she is his most precious treasure. He is a man in love.”

Janet looked over at them, smiling. “Do you think she feels the same way about him?” she asked

Thor thought about it for a moment before speaking. “I believe she very much cares for him, but she's only been awake for such a short time. But I have no doubt she will soon.”

Janet smiled at that thought. Tony just frowned. Then he had an idea. He cleared his throat causing Hulk, Bella and Captain America and everyone else to look at him.

“Bella since you will be joining the Avengers we need know what you can do.” he said

Hulk just growled while everyone else glared at him, except Bella. She rubbed his back a little, letting him put her down on the ground.

“Alright Tony, if you say so. But lets do this now. You against me and no armor. To make it fair. Agreed?” she said

Tony nodded in agreement before climbing into the ring. Bella followed him before getting into her stance.

“I'll go easy on you since you're new here.” Tony said smugly

Hulk just growled while Bella just ignored him. Tony started off with a punch before Bella caught it and threw him out of the ring. Everyone tried to keep from snickering at the sight. Bella got out of the ring and walked towards Hulk.

“Tony just because I've only been awake for a month now doesn't mean I don't know how to fight. Professor Xavier wanted me to learn basic combat skills. If you're trying to draw out my powers then you'll have wait for them to waken.” with that everyone looked at her, even Hulk.

“Why Bella powers not working?” he asked

Bella looked up at him smiling. “Don't know really. The Professor says my powers were put to sleep in that machine that Leader had me in which caused me to sleep. He's not sure when they'll wake up but when they do I need be careful about when I release them.” she said

Hulk nodded before hurrying her out of the room. He didn't want the others to bother her with questions about her powers. The others noted this but it seemed Tony did not. He quickly recovered from the toss and followed them.

“So if you do have powers, what kind and what can do you do with them?” he asked

Bella felt Hulk's hand tighten around her. She was about to speak when Captain and Hank came between them.

“Tony leave her alone, she doesn't have to tell us. It's not uncommon for someone's powers to block after being asleep for so long. Besides I doubt she will be fighting with Hulk. He'll probably do it for her and happily.” Hank said

By time he was done Hulk and Bella were gone, leaving Just Hank, Tony and Captain there in the hallway. Thor and Janet had already gone off to do their own thing.

Tony was about to speak but Captain stopped him. “Hank right. It is none of your business what her powers are or where she came from. It seems to me Hulk knows and probably doesn't want something to happen like what happened four years ago. I suggest you back off before Hulk decides to tell you himself.” and with that both males left him alone, leaving Tony standing in the middle of the hall feeling once again like a jack-ass and a fool.
