The Hunt Begins
*Logan lets down Tala’s defenses for him and Victor so the real games can begin.
*This chapter is an intermission of sorts ‘cause I gotta go see Kill Bill, and The Punisher forgive me but y’all understand.
Chapter 10
The Hunt Begins
Sabre stepped back off the bed and waited for whatever Logan gave Tala to take full effect. He watched Logan leave then come back with two cigars and he was handed one to him already lit. ‘How long’s this shit suppose to take runt?” “Keep ue nae name callin’ and I’ll cut ya down t’ my size.’ ‘Like t’ see ya try small fry.’ L was was tempted by the offer, but he just took a long drag of the stogie and exhaled looking over at Tala who was now groggy, but alert. ‘C’mon darlin’ time fer some fun to be had. Vic tie her to the bed with that belt o’ yers and I’ll be right back.” “And where in the hell do you think yer ’?’ ’?’ ‘Toys my ugly friend, t’ get the toys.’
Logan left out the room and headed down the hall to his room and Sabre went to retrieve his belt from his pants. Standing he folded it together and snapped it with a loud crack. Tala jumped at the sound and turned her eyes looking through strands of fussed hair. ‘Pet I’m gonna hurt ya. I promised you I was gonna make you scream, remember I said ‘I’ll make yer ass cry fer me t’ kill ya’ and trust me…’ He pulled her up by her throat blowing the thick smoke in her eyes and nose, ‘…you will.’
Her body felt so damned heavy and her brain was fogged but she had enough strength for one good swipe with her claws to get away, she just prayed her feet wouldn’t give out on her in her attempted escape. The belt hung ar his his neck, as he began to lay her back down to bind her hands, she swung her hand across his face with all her strength catching his eye and knocking his cigar to the floor. She didn’t stay to see him fall to the floor, but heard his body hit with a hard thud as she made it to the steps looking back to see if Logan was coming. She was half way down the steps when Sabre started to wail in pain, but she missed Logan standing in his doorway watching her hobble down the steps.
He grabbed his case and went back to her room to see Sabre growling on the floor in pain. ‘What’s wrong sasquatch get beat up by a defenseless little girl?’ ‘Fuck you she took out my eye!!’ ‘Is that what yer yellin’ like a whore fer ya big baby, you know it’ll grow back.’ ‘No I’m wailin’ like a bitch ‘cause she made me drop my Cuban and I’m pissed about it.’ Logan picked it up off the floor and looked it over. ‘Quit bitchin’ like a little girl who lost her dolly you can still smoke it, you’ve had dirtier things in yer mouth I’m sure.’ Leaving Sabre fuming, he left the room again and came back this time with a pair of jeans on.
‘Where ya goin’ clothes aren’t required fer what we’re gonna do to the lass.’ ‘I know she left and she’ s outside. If you want yer jewels scratched with thorns and branches be my guest but get up and let’s go she’s gotten far enough.’ ‘Oh I get it two beasts after the beauty. This game I like.’ He a r a roaring laugh that Tala could hear from the elevator that led to the outside gazebo next to the lake. She shivered not knowing if his laughter was a good thing or bad thing, either way she was going to pay for what she did and thinking about it sent a rush of heat to her pussy that she couldn’t wait to be extinguished. Sabre popped his cigar back in his mouth and slipped on his jeans still wearing the belt around his neck and followed Logan outside and eyed the black case hed ind in his hand.
Tala wrapped in nothing but a throw from the couch, hobbled barefoot in the woods zigzagging her way through the trees as much as possible trying to put her scent in as many places as much as possible attempting to confuse them both, which she knew was stupid. Her head was swimming and her body was tired beyond reason but she knew she had to keep going. ‘Man it must suck to be human sometimes, how do they do it?’ ‘Not all that well darlin’.’ She turned leaning on a tree for support to see Logan standing a few feet away from her smiling in the moonlight. She knew running would be futile and just stayed put. ‘Where’s your friend?’ He cocked his head to side as if confused raising his eyebrow, ‘What friends I don’t have any.’
His eyes started to glow as he stalked towards her careful not to get his eye gouged out of his head. ‘Where’s…where’s Sabretooth?’ she said almost falling over. ‘Close by I suppose, ya know ya pissed him off honey, ya made him drop his cigar.’ She gave a weak laugh, ‘If you give me time and a boat I’ll go get him another one.’ ‘Very funny sweetheart, but can you do something fer me?’ She pushed herself off the tree and fell to his body gripping his chest for support, ‘Anything.’ He tilted her chin to look in her eyes and kissed the tip of her nose. ‘Run, cause he’s a comin’ fer ya a ain ain’t gonna stop him.’ She saw how serious he was and began to use the trees to support her in her escape. ‘Damn this is gonna be fun,’ Sabretooth smiled coming next to Logan. Logan nodded and began walking, ‘It’s gonna wear off in another half hour to forty-five minutes, so let the game finally begin. On yer mark, get set, go fuck.’ Without another word they both began to walk and in an instant they both felt their instincts peaking and their inner animals rising. Tala was at least 5 minutes ahead and heard them both give roars of triumph alr. S. She removed the blanket and felt her legs come back to her. She ran a few feet testing herself and her speed was coming back. She began running as fast as she could and yelled back to them without stopping, ‘You two want me, then come and get me!’
