**This is a full story-not just sex with filler. Sit back with a cup of coffee and enjoy. Lo'Rae is a character of my own creation. This story takes place in an AU (since I stopped reading X-Men 15 years ago, that is where my heart and head lay when it comes to them)**
~Prologue~She gasped as the ship suffered another heavy hit, her body slamming into the heavy armor of the Shi'ar guard.
"You alright, Lady?" he asked, taking ahold of her elbow and steadying her as they rushed along the narrow corridor.
"Yes," She simply stated with a jerk of her auburn head. She flushed, slightly embarrassed by the stumble but the urgency with which they were under was something she wasn't used to. Her life of warrior training had never included having ones ship attacked. They continued to rush along the corridor, ducking their heads as the ship shook and people rushed passed.
"This way, Lady," the guard barked, making a sudden left and opening up a narrow door, "Please, get in, Lady."
Her deep purple eyes stared at him, "But, are you not coming with me," she pleaded, looking into his dark eyes. These people had been strangers to her only days ago and now they were risking their lives to ensure her safety.
"Our orders are clear, Lady," he smiled slightly as he took a step back and guided her resistant form into the escape pod.
"Please don't," she tried to reached out to grab his arm as the doors closed, separating them, and her hands instead fell upon the cool metal of the door. Suddenly there was a jolt and the sensation of flying; she squeezed her eyes together as tightly as she could and she held her breath. The pod then jolted and the force sent her petite frame slamming into the side, her head cracking heavily against something. The air was sucked from her lungs as the pod started to break apart. In the haze that was her brain she struggled to remember what it was she had been told before this journey began,
"I am sending you to Earth. You will join Charles Xavier there. Join his school and learn to embrace the gift you have been given. You are a rare one, Lo'Rae. The first of our race in over 2,000 years to be blessed with a gift. Charles Xavier, find him."
She felt her consciousness slowly slipping "Charles Xavier," she managed to whisper and concentrated. Then it went black.
