Chapter 1
“You found him?” Jennifer Walters, the Sensational She-Hulk asked almost to happy for words.
“It took a great deal of intelligence gathering and a few satellites but I finally tracked down your wayward cousin.” Reed Richards, also known as Mr. Fantastic replied.
After weeks and weeks of getting the run around She-Hulk had ascertained that her cousin, Doctor Bruce Banner (aka the Incredible Hulk), was not on the planet Earth. Determined to locate him, she requested help from her friend and former teammate Dr. Reed Richards. Jen found it odd that he seemed to already be investigating his disappearance as well but was grateful that Reed was willing to provide the resources she needed. Warning bells again went off in her head when Tony Stark arrived with several of her associates, known to some as the Lady Liberators, and a woman she had only aware of through data files, Suzi Endo.
While details were sketchy on the how Tony had a ship ready and the flight path all ready programed. Despite all of the signs that something was not copacetic, Jen let it go so she could work on recovering her cousin. The quartet boarded their shuttle and when given the green light blasted off into space. Cybermancer, Suzi’s alter ego, was the ships pilot and Jen watched as she flew the craft with ease along the flight path they were provided. From the planet bellow the two members of the Illuminati stared into the sky.
“So what is your plan now Tony.” Reed inquired. Reed was one of the individuals that had voted to exile the Hulk but would never have agreed to do so to Jennifer. He would have rather sent someone more expendable on this mission.
“Jennifer was asking too many questions Reed. As valuable as she is, we can’t risk everything we are working for to come undone. Additionally we can’t risk Bruce returning and unraveling all the good as well.” Tony replied.
Reed looked at the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. for a moment. He knew that some of what Tony had stated was true, but at the same time Jennifer was a good friend and teammate. He opted to walk away and keep his thoughts to himself, least he say something that would cause his fellow Illuminati member to question his motives.

The trip had been fairly uneventful, most would say boring until the ship hit a special anomaly, in this case a worm hole, that initially only threw off the instruments but then caused the primary generator to shut down. Only because the backup generator kicked did the ship have navigation. While Cybermancer raced to get the ship back online Jen found herself extremely disoriented and felt incredibly weak. Cybermancer’s fingers danced over the instrument panels and as the ship neared a rather menacing looking planet managed to restore power and controls to the ship before they were sucked into the planet’s gravity well.
“Everyone strap in!” Suzi yelled as the craft they were traveling in plummeted towards the unknown planet. Sweat fell from her brow as she fought to regain full control of the ship. Her groans were on the verge of becoming full-fledged screams when the auto reboot of the ships system kick in. Suzi cut power to the primary thrusters and using the vernier thrusters stop the ship before finally coming into geosynchronous orbit the planet.
“And that ladies is how you don’t crash a rocket.” Suzi stated as she lent back into her chair. Thundra and Valkyrie laughed at the statement. Jennifer however simply moaned and groaned. She still did not feel like her normal super strong self.
“So…” Jen started to say but covered her mouth to force back some bile she tasted in her mouth. “Where do we go from here?”
Suzi turned to face the lady liberators and activated the ships on-board holographic projector. “I’m picking up a transponder signal from the ship we are tracking. Stark packed this ship with a shuttle so we’ll leave our ship in geosynchronous orbit and take the transport to the surface.
“Surface conditions?” Thundra asked before anyone else could get a word in edge wise.
“Reading indicate it is very similar to earth… atmospherically speaking that is. It primarily looks like one big desert.” Suzi informed the trio.
“All right then, ” Jennifer stated, “lets make our way to the ships landing site.”
“Crash site you mean?” Valkyrie stated.
“Considering your cousin did not have a pilot of Cybermancer’s caliber, ” Thundra stated in a complimentary way, “It’s a pretty safe bet he crashed.”
“Fine, lets make our way to the crash site.” Jennifer said in a resigned tone.

Despite some mild turbulence on the ride down the trip in the shuttle to the planet surface was far calmer and more enjoyable than their trip through the wormhole. Suzi had to complement Stark on designing and building such a cool transport. When they finally broke through the massive cloud cover the quartet found themselves landing next to the ship that brought the Hulk to this strange new world. Suzi extending the landing gear and the ships VTOL thrusters eased their descent. The shuttle extended its landing gear and gently came to rest on the planet’s surface. When she was sure the ship was on stable ground Suzi Endo keyed in the command to open the access door. Thundra, battle mace at the ready, was the first to exit the ship. Leaping into the air, the amber haired Amazonian landed several feet to her left with a powerful thud. She quickly scans the area in her field of vision, the mace residing in her right hand ready to bash away at any hostiles. Valkyrie exited the small craft next in a similar fashion to Thundra. Flipping in mid air, she landed in a crouched position to the right, sword still sheathed but her hand is on its hilt and she is ready to draw quickly if need be.
“Clear.” Thundra and Brunnhilda responded in unison. Jen, still reeling from the wallop the wormhole gave her, cautiously exits the shuttle armed with a large but lightweight energy rifle.
The Sensational She-Hulk made a quick scan of their surroundings and then called out, “Suzi, close the hatch and set the locks. Keep the engines warm in case we have to make a quick exit.”
“Copy.” Cybermancer acknowledges.
As soon as Jen was clear of the hatch the trio heard the doors hydraulics engage and the hatch sealed itself shut. The engines were still on but were running quiet. The Lady Liberators take up a three-point formation and begin to make their way towards the ship cautiously. As they near the ship they hear clanging coming from the interior of the ship. Jen signals for Thundra to circle left and for Valkyrie to circle right and armed with an energy rifle, made her way towards the breach in the ship. Quietly peering into the ship, Jennifer saw red skinned humanoids lurking about the ship. She could not tell what they were doing, but they were speaking in a language that Jen understood.
“Can you figure it out or not?” She heard one say in an annoyed tone.
“The systems are very sophisticated. However as we are only trying to make it explode I think I can do that with relative ease. I’m just having a hard time trying to find where to cause the most damage to make the biggest explosion.” Another voice stated. With that said, the three Lady Liberators had heard all they needed to hear. Jen smiled and motioned to Thundra. She and Valkyrie stepped back as Thundra jumped up into the air and came crashing down inside the ship. The action had the desired effect; she scared the group of people half to death. Bringing her mace down against her hand hard she looked at the group.
“Get out of this ship…” Thundra stated calmly, then added “NOW!!!”
Several males tried to assault the warrior queen only to be physically tossed from the ship in various fashions, each landing a good distance from the Hulk’s ship. When only the two figures that had discussed turning the ship into a bomb were left, Thundra moved menacingly towards them. Hoisting them up by their collars, she walked the gagging humanoid males out of the ship and dropped them at the feet of Jennifer and Brunnhilda.
“Now then… let’s have a little chat.” She-Hulk stated looking as menacing as possible.
