Author’s Note: I thought about all the health issues that normal humans have and figured why not give a mutant a health issue too. This is that story.
X-Force in Angel of the Night.
It was about three hours before midnight; I had decided to go to the city to visit the dance hall where Julio and I once visited together. I did realize that I would not need to bring my swords this time -- my old friend had told me many times that I would not need to use my swords so I left them at X-Force's home base. But for some odd reason, I feel comfortable without them being near me when only a few months ago, I wouldn't dream being anywhere without them. Am I becoming...more human as the time I'm staying on Earth? My killer instincts are leaving me and at times I am afraid that I am indeed losing those killer instincts that I had when I first came to Earth seeking help?
The music I could hear from five blocks away where we had parked the jeep but it seems that no one else was hearing it in my party of three for James and Theresa was walking ahead of me. The music and what they do inside called dancing was always something odd to do that this planet's inhabitants do on some nights. It was strange but I liked the music it was a reminder of my own home -- the sounds of battle.
"Se' ya...later, Star," yelled James, as he and Theresa melted into the huge dancing crowd leaving Star alone at the top of the stairs.
He melted into the crowd but stayed far away to watch them dancing. He never wanted to get any closer than that. A young light brown haired lady, who was once dancing with another man was trying to get away from three strong looking men who was harassing her when the signs of blood came from her nails. Did she attack them? he wondered. She quickly vanished in a burst of light but he figured that one of those men might have followed her to where she was at.
Star raced outside to when he heard the sounds of someone being beaten coming from nearby. (Bam! Ufff!) He found where the sounds were coming from and without another thought he lunged right into the fight. The two men fled from there as he stood near to the downed form of the young lady.
"Are you alright, miss?" asked Star, looking at her as he helped her to stand but she couldn't stand for they had struck her back really hard with the board that laid nearby. Star held her up with his arm around her waist. He looked into her eyes to see white and then her true color of her blue eyes came out.
"Ali. Ali Czar. I...don't know why, Star. They hate me for being what I am...a mutant," whispered the young woman, as she fainted from the pain.
"Star! We saw you race...o' boy. What happened out here, Star?" asked James, as he saw the young lady in his arms. The blood on her extended nails was enough to let him know that the young lady was a mutant like they were.
"I'll tell you later, but Ali needs medical help fast," spoke Star, as he looked at both James and Theresa.
They headed for the mansion with their newfound friend.
It was hours later, did the young woman stir, which brought the Beast to her side.
"Wha...where?" whispered Ali, as she started to open her eyes to the sight of a blue furred monster. She was shaken by the sight but she knew who the monster was for he was no monster at all.
"You're safe, miss Czar. I'm Hank McCoy known to everyone here as the...," spoke Hank.
"The Beast. I know you for I was in the University you tried to get in a few years ago. I dropped out of that University when they wouldn't allow you to be a Professor there. Stupid Dean...he was. Now for my question where is here, Beast?" asked Ali, as she moved in the bed to sit fully upright to look at him.
"You are at Professor Xavier's Institute for Higher Learning. What no one really knows is that it is really a school for those special people who happens to be a mutant like yourself and my humble self, Ali," spoke Beast, looking at her with a grin on his blue face.
"So how is the young mutant Star found doing, Hank?" asked Cable, as he walked into the room. Ali was shocked to see Cable standing at the door. She looked scared as Hank took hold of her hand before going towards the chart.
"Ali is doing fine, Cable. The injury on her back is nothing to get too alarmed with. The nerves were in shock and now it is back to normal," replied Hank, looking at Cable then to Ali.
"And now that I have a good bill of health, Hank. I'm getting out of here as soon as I can," spoke Ali, as she stood up from the bed.
"I think I would like to know about the two men who attacked you last night, Ali. They may try again....if they see you at the dance club again?" asked Cable, looking at her as she started to scratch her back with her now extended nails.
"Those two men are from the Friends of Humanity....a former group that I was once with...before I became a mutant, Cable. Just a moment. (The sounds of clothing ripping apart.) I thought they might be coming out today," spoke Ali, as she glanced to her back as a pair of light gray wings appeared from her back.
"You have wings!?" spoke a shocked Beast, as he stared at her.
"Yep. But that isn't all that I have in mutant powers, Hank. I can sense and open teleportation gates. Sometimes I can travel through time in those gates as well as travel to different places too," replied Ali, looking at them both calmly.
(Shuwwwssshhh!) The door leading to the hallway was opened by Star and behind him was Caliban, the mutant tracker of mutants.
"Told you there was a new mutant in the area, Star. I was right, ain't I?" asked Caliban, as Star nodded to him as he entered the room.
"Cable...I know you have the last say in who joins X-Force but I think...no believes that Ali might be a good asset in our fight against the evil of man or mutants?" asked Star, looking at him strongly.
"I must agree with you, Star. After what I saw today...I think she could be a very valuable asset to our team. So what do you have to say Ali...will you join X-Force?" asked Cable, looking at her not even knowing that she was holding a secret in her heart that would destroy them or her.
"Yes and if you don't mind I will chose my own code name, Nathan Summers Dayspring," spoke Ali, as she looked at him.
"Sure, go right on ahead, Ali," replied Cable, he knew she had said part of his real last name as she spoke.
"My codename....is Angel of The Night. Don't ask me about why I chose that name. I will explain it later in about three months from now or maybe even less," spoke Ali, as she walked out of the room with Star and Caliban.
They meet up with Theresa and Domino in the hallway. Then, Ali went with Dom and Theresa to go to the room which would now be hers. Ali went and got three glasses of water for them and her. She pulled out her pills and was about to take them when Dom stopped her.
"What kind of pills are those, Ali?" asked Dom, looking at her gently.
"Oh these....they are my evening vitamins," spoke Ali, knowing if they really knew about the real purpose of those pills were they wouldn't be so gentle with her.
"Tomorrow morning, I'll take you back to your home to get your clothes so you don't have to bother borrowing ours for now. I have couple of old nightgowns you can use, Ali," said Meltdown, looking at her as she took hold of a pair of scissors and cut two large holes in the back of the two nightgowns before she handed Ali the two nightgowns.
"I thought...," spoke Ali, shocked.
"These are my old ones. I bought new ones today, Ali," replied Meltdown, looking at her as they left the room for their owns since it was time for bed.
Ali went to bed. But it was only three hours later, did she rise from her bed feeling a tightness in her chest as she grabbed her robe and headed down to the kitchen to get a glass of water. At that same moment, in the boathouse, Scott rose with a strange feeling in his heart. He slipped out of bed, making sure that he didn't wake Jean up and headed towards the main house.
He opened the kitchen door not expecting to see anyone inside when he saw the limp form of the young woman Star brought in earlier that night near the table. He raced to her side and felt for a pulse which there was none. He quickly started to do CPR on her and hoped that it wasn't too late for her.
"That's it, Ali. Let your heart pump," spoke Scott, as he lifted her up into his arms and carried her into the living room and laid her down on the couch.
A few minutes later, Ali's blue eyes opened up to see him sitting near her. The lamp's light shone on part of his face as he looked at her.
"Don't try to rise, Ali," spoke Scott. His face revealed their worry about her.
"I had a heart attack...didn't I, Scott?" asked Ali, looking at him seriously.
"Yes, you did. What's wrong with your heart, Ali?" asked Scott, looking at her. The way he looked at her -- he really wanted to know. He was concerned about her.
"My heart is bad. My heart is the size of a ten year olds heart, Scott. My heart stopped growing when I was ten years old. I had been misdiagnosed having asthma twice before I had my first attack when I was only fifteen years old. After the third doctor found my heart defect and quickly placed my name on the transplant list top priority. My family sued both my previous doctors and got a court settlement of over five million dollars. I have heart attacks every two to four days but sometimes I have had them twice in one day or maybe four in a day. I have to have a heart transplant but there is no heart here on Earth that would work for me," spoke Ali, looking at him.
"How long have you been on the transplant list, Ali?" asked Scott.
"For ten years. My heart doctor expected me to be dead already. Not many people who have bad hearts live beyond five years and they are on the heart and lung transplant list. Some never see the next day. Some look healthy and then...poof...they're gone. I wish that the doctor that I have...would call me up and tell me that they have a heart for me but I know that would never happen," spoke Ali, looking at him.
"What do you mean by that, Ali?" asked Scott, looking at her shocked.
"The heart that they are looking for is not on this Earth at all. The heart must be from of my counterpart in another timeline. I met her only once when I entered her timeline. She's very healthy for...The Angel of The Night. The tissue type and blood type must be the same or I will not handle the replacement heart at all, Scott," spoke Ali, looking at him as she rose from the couch wobbly.
"Have you told the others about your heart condition...yet, Ali?" asked Scott. He helped her to walk back to her room.
"No, I think Cable will believe that I am lying about it to get out of practicing my powers. He will make me go into a heart attack....if he gets me mad enough to throw caution to the four winds," spoke Ali, as she entered her room.
"I can talk with him about you and your condition....if you want me to, Ali. I have ways with him and besides he knows what I say is the truth," said Scott, looking at her as she climbed into bed.
"No, I think I can handle it my way, Scott. But just in case stay near tomorrow morning for that is when I am going to tell everyone about my heart defect," spoke Ali, as she pulled the covers over her shoulders and closed her eyes to sleep.
Scott closed her door and left the mansion for the boathouse where he knew that Jean would be up and wondering what he has been up to.
Early that morning, Ali walked down from her room to the kitchen expecting to be the only one up when she saw Cable standing by the wall with a cup of hot coffee talking with the other members of X-Force. Scott was sitting on the counter-top drinking coffee while waiting for his toast to pop up.
"Morning, Ali," spoke Scott, looking at her as he hopped down to get his toast.
"Morning, Scott. Oh before you leave...thanks for last night," said Ali, as she went to the cabinets where the glasses were and picked one and filled it with water and took out her morning heart pills and dranked them down quickly.
"Ali...what did Scott do for you last night?" asked James, he was wondering what had happened last night.
"Oh, I had a heart attack last night and if he didn't walk into the kitchen at that moment and got my heart to start pumping again. Whoever was in here first would have found my dead body by the table this morning," spoke Ali, as she looked at them all.
"What?!" spoke everyone at once. They were all shocked that Ali had heart problems. She looks so healthy.
"Why didn't you inform us of this problem yesterday that you might have the chance that you might go into a heart attack during the night, Ali?" asked Cable, looking at her still shocked by the news.
"Because the last time I told anyone of my heart defect...they pitied me and plus they went to great length to make sure that I wouldn't be stressed about anything but it made no difference I still had many heart attacks while I was friends with them. They couldn't handle seeing me for they would only see their mortality and after a major heart attack that I had infront of them...they stopped seeing me all together," spoke Ali, looking at them as she walked to the chair and sat down in it and took some deep breaths. She placed her hand over her heart as she took in several deep breaths.
"Ali, is it your heart?" asked Scott, going to her side.
"It's just beating too hard, Scott. I'm trying to calm it down but I think I might go into a heart attack soon...hopefully not," replied Ali, as she looked at Scott with a flushed face.
"Ali, is there anything we can help with like find the right person to donate their heart to you?" asked Storm, looking at her as she entered the room.
"I been on the organ list of the heart for the last ten years. I don't know if I will ever have the heart that I need to live the rest of my life with...since the heart lives in another timeline," spoke Ali, as she looked at the others gently.
Ring! Ring! Scott left the room to answer the phone. A few seconds later, he re-entered the room and motioned to her to come with him.
"I'll be right back," spoke Ali.
"I hope we can find the right kind of heart for Ali," spoke Meltdown, looking at the others.
"What! You did! I'll be right there!" yelled Ali, from the other room. She raced into the room looking very happy.
"That was my heart doctor! They found a heart for me! I can have it transplanted into my chest today!" spoke Ali. She was excited about the heart that the doctor had found.
"Then, get dressed, Ali. We will take you to the hospital right away," spoke Cable, looking at her as she left the room. They saw her light gray wings vanish under her skin as she left the room.
"Cable, do you know Ali last name? For I think that heart that she is going to get is from one of her family member's heart," whispered Domino, looking at him.
"Her last name is Czar. Why do you want to know?" asked Scott, looking at her.
"I'll show you, Meltdown...keep an eye out for her," spoke Domino, as she played the video of the morning news cast of a brutal family murder.
"I want you all to promise me that you will not let Ali know about this until her heart operation is over with," spoke Cable, as a single tear came from his right eye.
Soon, Ali was at the car as her night bag was placed in the truck of the car. Not too long after that were they on the road towards the hospital that Ali was going to have her heart surgery in. The doctor came in and had the nurse take her friends away so they can start getting her ready for the operation.
Several hours later, the doctor came out of the operation room and went into the waiting room and informed them that she is doing fine and that the next two to four hours are critical if the heart is going to take to the new body that it is now in.
"Can we visit her?" asked Cable, looking at him.
"Only two at a time. You don't want to stress her heart even though the heart of her brother is very strong and healthy. Her room is 386," spoke the doctor, looking at them as he left the room.
"But I thought all of her family was killed?" asked Star, looking at the doctor.
"Her brother...Aladdin was brain dead when he arrived here. None of his major organs was undamaged and that they were very healthy. We went through his wallet to find a heart donor card and he wrote that if his heart fit his sister's requirements that he would give permission even though he can not speak for himself," replied the doctor, as he walked away from them.
Cable and Star entered her room together to see Ali to tell her that her family is dead. They were visited by the New York Police Detectives who were working on the murders. Cable told them that he will tell her about the murders of her family.
"Hi, Ali. How's the heart doing?" asked Cable, as he sat down near her.
"It is beating very strong for the age that they told that the heart is. Fifteen years old the heart is. That happens to be the age my younger brother, Aladdin, is. I would like to ask you a favor...Cable if you would do it?" asked Ali, looking at him.
"Sure, what is it," responded Cable, knowing it had to be something to do with her family.
"Call my parents and alert them that I have a new heart. I want them to be here when I leave the hospital," spoke Ali, looking at him with a huge smile on her face.
"I guess I could do that for you, Ali. I have to head in the direction of your family's home I could go and pick them up after I call them. Can I have their phone number?" asked Cable, knowing that he would have to leave and pretend to make that call.
Ali gave him the number to her folks and then she was about to speak to Star when her back started to itch. Her light gray wings appeared from her back just as the nurse carrying a tray of instruments in came into the room.
(Scream!) (Crash!)
"Please don't scream? I'm a mutant!" exclaimed Ali, as she looked at the nurse who raced out of the room.
What they didn't know was that she worked for the Friends of Humanity and at that moment, she was calling them to alert them of the mutant who had got a new heart that was for a normal human. They were going to do something really bad to the entire hospital who dared to treat a mutant before a normal human.
Cable left the room to go the waiting room where he told them that Ali still doesn't know about her entire family has been murdered.
"When are you going to tell her...that her entire family is dead, Cable?" asked Siryn, looking at him.
"I might have to tell her now since I gave myself time to make a pretend phone call to her folk's place, Siryn," spoke Cable, as he walked out of the room to Ali's room where he knew he would break her heart with the news of her family's murder.
"Cable, did they tell you when they were going to be coming to see me?" asked Ali, as she looked at him with a huge smile on her face.
"Ali...I have some bad news about your family. When I called your folk's....a police officer answered the phone instead of your folks. I asked to speak with your father but he transferred me to the Detective, who was there. The Detective told me that your entire family was brutally shot to death in the head leaving all dead or so they thought. Your brother, Aladdin, was still alive but he was brain dead. You have his heart in you just like he wanted, Ali. But you are the last member of your family," spoke Cable, looking at her as her blue eyes swelled with tears that overflowed onto her cheeks as she heard the news of her family's murder. He wrapped his arms around her as she cried on his shoulder even Star's eyes were wet with sadness.
"I think I know who did the murders of my beloved family," whispered Ali, as she looked at them.
"Who killed your family, Ali? I will help you get revenge on them?" asked Star, looking at her seriously.
"Oh, that won't be necessary, Star for they have already have their downfall on tape and they don't know about it. I knew about my parent's death earlier this morning. I couldn't let you know about it for well I don't know what you would have done. The group that my family was with until I told them that I might be a mutant is the so called....Friends of Humanity...for one thing if you leave that group is when you are six feet under and sometimes they will kill you so you can not spread what they really do in secret," said Ali, looking at them calmly.
The doctor who operated on her entered the room. But at the sight of Ali's gray wings, shocked him. To regain his composure he stepped back a few steps before he regained his composure and walked towards her.
"Forgive me for how I looked at you, Ali. I never saw or worked on a mutant before. I hope you can forgive the way I looked at you," spoke the doctor, looking at her as he examined her heart rate. He removed the air tube from her nose.
"That's alright. I had to go through this a lot when my wings started to appear. Do you smell that odd smell?" asked Ali, looking at them while she was wrinkling her nose at the scent she was smelling.
"No. What is the smell you are smelling, Ali?" asked Cable, looking at her as she tried to stand up from her bed.
"I smell...gas! Propane gas! It's coming from the vents! Cable, go to the others and get them down to the furnace and stop the Friends of Humanity from killing all of the patients who are in this hospital! I'll teleport you to them," spoke Ali, as her right hand glowed as she opened a yellow gate near the window. Star and Cable leaped into the gate knowing full well that their identities were now known by the doctor. But what they didn't know was that the doctor didn't see a thing or heard a thing from the minute she spoke his name -- for Star and Cable didn't know that Ali was a sorceress.
"I better try to get the other patients out of here before this place blows," spoke the doctor, as he left the room to go to the fire alarm and pulled the handle setting off the fire alarms inside the hospital.
Ali walked out of her room and headed towards the stairs when she felt the familiar tug at her heart that she once had when she had her old heart. Was she having a heart attack with her brother's own heart? she wondered. The pain in her heart was so painful, she screamed out her pain and then fainted to the floor of the hospital.
"Come on, Shantra. We must find her and give the heart of our beloved Angel of The Night to this timeline's Angel of The Night before it's too late. The last time anyone saw her was when she was only fifteen years old," spoke the shadowed figure, who appeared out of the same gate that Ali had opened for Cable and Star.
The woman had long hair that was down to her waist as she held a small cooler under her arm. Shantra quickly walked out of the room to see the body of this timeline's Angel of The Night against the wall of the hallway -- unconscious.
"I found her, Storm! She's out cold...through," whispered Shantra, as she carried Ali back into her own her room.
Storm quickly placed Ali back into her bed before she opened Ali's chest up by the use of sorcery to remove Ali's brother's heart and planted her counterpart in another timeline's heart into her chest cavity.
One of the many nurses who was racing to get the patients out of the hospital walked into Ali's room to see the two women working feverishly over the young heart patient that just had a heart transplant a few hours ago. She yelled out at them to get away from her or else.
"Shantra, stun her! I can't stop this process to talk with a nurse about this!" spoke Storm, quickly but calmly.
"Got it boss!" replied Shantra, as a red beam came out of her hand and struck the nurse in the arm which knocked her out cold.
Soon, the process was complete. They quickly entered the portal and vanished from sight back to their proper timeline just as Cable entered the room. He saw the fading sign of Ali's gate closing. He wondered if she had opened another gate but as he approached her bed to check on her. He found the nurse unconscious near her bed.
He lifted her up and carried her to a chair as she started to awaken. Cable was puzzled by the small red burn mark on her arm like she was shocked by electricity. But he did a quick survey of the room to find nothing that would produce that kind of mark.
"Where...are they?" asked the nurse, as she looked around the room looking for someone or something.
"What? Can you tell me what happened to you? For you to have a red mark on your arm, nurse?" asked Cable, looking at her gently as he pointed out the mark on her arm.
"There was two women in here over the young lady. One with long white or silver hair...she was doing something...that I couldn't tell. But she ordered the other lady who she called Shantra to stun me for I can not stop this process to talk with a nurse about this...and then this Shantra shot out a red beam at me and then next thing I know I'm waking up in this chair," spoke the nurse, looking at him as she stood up and walked over to the young lady.
She checked her heart rate and then pinched her cheek to see the light shade of white appear and faded into a light gray flesh tone. There was no pink in her face at all! It was a sign of death. The nurse quickly raced out of the room to the nurse's station and buzzed the doctor to come to room 386 fast.
"I'm sorry, sir but you will have to leave," said the nurse, quietly as she led the silver haired man out of the room as the doctor rushed past him.
The other members of X-Force, Storm, Jean and Scott came from the stairs. They knew something was wrong by how Cable was looking towards Ali's room.
"Cable, what's wrong with Ali?" asked Scott, looking at him.
"Ali's skin color is going from pink to gray...right now. I fear that she is dying. Her brother's heart is not doing anything for her," replied Cable, looking at him as the doctor came from Ali's room.
"You are right...you know. I can't do anything beyond what we can do to prevent her from dying of a heart attack here but it is not going to work for long. I'm suggesting that she goes home and there who knows she might get better or she will not. I'll sign the release papers right now for Alinoria Czar....who will sign them?" asked the doctor, looking at them.
"I will," spoke Cable, before Scott could speak.
"All right...if you will follow me. We can have her ready to leave here really soon. I promise you this....right now. When you leave with her...I will purge all the information of her out of the computer's database," replied the doctor, as he and Cable walked away.
Soon, Ali was carried into the car as the doctor waved good-by to his first mutant heart patient -- he walked back into the hospital wondering if all mutants had problems like this beyond the normal fights between members of their own race and theirs. He knew that this mutant that he treated would live as he purged all information on her out of the computer's memories.
"Cable, do you think we can find that one person that Ali spoke of. The one in that other timeline that is her counterpart," asked Meltdown, looking at him as he carried Ali up the stairs to her room.
"I can't even enter the time stream let alone travel in the gates that Ali can produce. If she wakes...I'll ask her if she would open the time portal to that timeline that holds her counterpart in," said Cable, as he disappeared into Ali's room.
"I hope she doesn't die on us," spoke James, as he poured the hot coffee into the mug.
"I, too...also share your hope, James," replied Star. He looked up at the stairs when he noticed that Ali was walking down the stairs with Cable holding her waist and her left arm to keep her steady. Her skin color was still a light shade of gray.
"Come outside those who wants to see the Angel of The Night...my counterpart in another timeline," whispered Ali, as she walked outside with Cable helping her.
Almost everyone went outside. Ali raised her glowing hand up towards the north as a small ball of yellow appeared in thin air and then a few seconds later, it grew bigger till they could all walk-in without lowering their heads.
"I shall mark the path of the timeline you must travel to....to find The Angel of The Night. One thing...I must warn you about her is that she looks just like me but her entire skin is completely light gray skin tone. And one thing more...you will find her in the ranks of the X-Men," spoke Ali, looking at them as they looked at her shocked.
"The X-Men!?" spoke Scott, shocked.
"My counterpart joined the X-Men when she was fifteen when her powers fully came out. I appeared in that timeline at the same time she joined the team. I told them that I was her twin sister until I got her away from the others and told her the truth about me. She told me that I would have to learn how to control my gate power better by training with the Sorcerer Supreme...Dr. Strange. I am a sorceress of the highest degree. Actually, I could be his replacement here on this Earth if I didn't leave for my other timeline's counterpart's world. It's alright, Exodus. You can come out now," spoke Ali, as she looked at her gate as Exodus walked out of the gate.
"You don't have to worry about your heart no more, Alinoria. She's dead...we came to bring her body to this timeline. You have her heart in you already. You are starting to reveal your true form. Acolytes bring the coffin out!" snapped Exodus, as they walked out of the gate carrying a brown coffin.
"How did she die, Exodus?" asked Ali.
"She saved ten children from being blown up by a bus. But the ensuing explosion killed her brain and Storm...she knew that you...Angel's twin needed her heart so by ripping apart the timeline's barriers. She and Shantra managed to get here and placed within you...her heart," spoke Exodus.
"I want to know, Ali. Will you come home with me and be my wife?" asked another voice coming from the gate.
"Eric!" spoke Ali, shocked as she rushed to the gate to hold out her hand to the golden gate as another gloved hand appeared from the gate. The hand and the person who held Ali's hand fully appeared. It was Magneto! How did he know Ali? Ali looked into Magneto's eyes with love burning in them as did Magneto.
"I know how I can live in the other timeline! Exodus, come with me and bring my counterpart's body! Leave the coffin here!" yelled Ali, as she took to the sky.
Exodus removed The Angel of The Night's body from the coffin and flew into the sky with Ali. Both of them disappeared from sight. Twenty minutes later, they returned minus the body of Alinoria Czar.
"What did you do with the body, Ali?" asked Cable, looking at her.
"Oh, I just killed myself," spoke Ali.
"What?!" asked Storm, shocked.
"I have on tape the real murderers of my family on my voice recorder and now since they had...killed my parents and brother will be blamed for my death, too. The Police will ask you guys alot of questions. I had my neighbors fooled by my illusions of Cable and James...over two hours ago. You....see I have planned to leave this timeline for a long time. You, two will be the last ones who would ever see me alive leaving me at my home after coming home from the hospital. That's what I want you to tell them. For I am one of the dead here in this timeline...now. Star, I need to speak with you alone," spoke Ali, as she walked away from the others with Star.
"I'm sorry Star. But I have jumped to your homeworld and they believe that you are one of the dead...and they have killed Mojo and peace has came over your world. I tried to enter that gate but it was near to impossible for me to enter your homeworld. I can open that gate so you can go back to the world you know...if you want to go there. For once I leave this timeline...I will never return," spoke Ali, looking at him.
"No, I want to stay here. This is now my world...not Mojoworld. I want to stay here on this Earth. Tell me is there...a counterpart of me in the timeline that your counterpart lived in once?" asked Star, looking at her gently.
"No, Star. There isn't a Shatterstar there," replied Ali, as they walked back to the others.
"My time is up here. It's time for me to become a member of the X-Men Omega," spoke Ali, looking at the others.
"X-Men Omega? What do you mean by that, Ali? And who are the members?" asked Jean, looking at her.
"Well, the X-Men grew bigger than one group leader could handle so we spilt the team into different side names like Alpha, Omega, and Beta. I...my counterpart happen to be the team leader....well co-leader of that group along with my counterpart's husband, Eric. Well...it wasn't me. But now that she's dead. I guess it would be easy to transit my single days as a single gal to that of a married woman. For one thing...I am really in love with you Eric. I have loved you since I met you all those years ago. I had cast a love spell over my counterpart so powerful…nothing would break it...not even Illyana...I mean Magik's magical sword could break my powerful spell," spoke Ali, revealing her true feelings for a man who lived in another timeline with her counterpart.
"Ali, you mean Illyana is still alive in their timeline?" spoke James, looking at her shocked.
"Yes, she barely survived the Legacy Virus, James. But thanks to a hunch on my counterpart's part saved her along with Wolverine's blood that gave her the antibodies to fight back and now she's a happy ten year old living with Peter and his new bride, Kitty. Take Paige Guthrie and have Wolverine give up two pints of his own blood and pump it into her veins and then wait two minutes before you see the fun starts. She'll be husking her skin over three dozen times before she's done healing herself. But now...we must be going, bye," replied Ali, as she, Eric and the Acolytes along with Exodus entered her gate never to be seen by them again.
"Cable, do you think that Wolverine's blood can heal Paige of her Legacy Virus?" asked Siyrn, looking at him.
"I don't know but it's worth a try. Go call your father and tell him that we need Paige down here as soon as possible. Scott, where is Wolverine? We need him even if he is feral now," spoke Cable, turning from Siyrn to Scott.
