I love this story and your writing style. Alex's internal dialogue is beautifully done and frequently very funny. Please continue writing, don't make me hunt you down and stab you with a fork, to take a page from Alex's playbook. Oh, I can't tell you how much I grinned over your Tarsier reference!

I enjoy your character development, Alex is quite fascinating and real-seeming. Also, it's impressive that you can write in first person with such clarity, most people get tripped up by first person. I hope to read more soon.
