This story brings back for me a lot of what was so unsatisfying about Darkholme's "end," but in a good way, a healing type of way. Having a proper sendoff with at least one of the people he'd grown close to in the 616 universe was very much needed, and very much appreciated. Wade seems like a plausible choice to play both sides of the field, and I think his interaction with Darkholme works well here-- sexy and sad and bittersweet. Thanks for sharing!
