Reviews for The Mind Is Virgin Territory

This review focuses on the second chapter; I read the first but I didn't much care for it.

When the sex scene started seemingly out of nowhere, I thought, "Well, that escalated quickly." Having Emma give them a "nudge" made it make sense - nice touch.

I liked how Kitty struggled with verb tenses when describing things about dead!Jean to young!Jean. Thank you, time travel!

The first half to 2/3 of the second chapter also does an intriguing job exploring the ramifications of bringing the original X-Men forward in time. It also highlights the really absurd amounts of trauma some of the characters have been through, not to mention some of the absurd plots the comics writers have come up with over the years. Young!Jean's description of the infodump - downloading all of Scott's mistakes over the years in a short time - was particularly poignant; as a fairly regular Jean/Scott shipper, her fears that what they felt for each other would prove to be the most destructive force in their lives, implicitly more so than reality warpers or cosmic entities, brought tears to my eyes.

My, oh my, oh my. The master of the sexy, off-beat endings has struck again. A story that just shone with authentic teenaged female angst suddenly turns into extremely sexy porn. The best kind of porn, that has purpose and clarity, that FEELS right.

    Bravo again, Zev

that was very good! a little confusing in a few spots but really quite awesome. if you just work in a sequel, maybe with X 23 (named Eve) that would be even more awesome!

Delicious. If you're looking for some really hot action between Jean Grey and Kitty Pryde, this is it, in spades. Zev95 has done a great job in capturing both women's personalities. I'm a very long-time Marvel fan (1963) and I remember the background of much of the story. This is REALLY hot and REALLY good stuff from an author who respects his readers enough to get it right, both grammatically and otherwise.

Zev95 is going to be considered one of the best on this website in no time at all.
