Thanks for getting us a fast chapter. I really appreciated that and know how hard it is to get chapters out as fast as you wish you could. The Spider Slayer was a good surprise. I was expecting Alistair or his father to appear from Tri-Corp to make it for some super villain, but having Vulture, Mason, and Mystrio worked. I liked you incorporated Tombs' magnetic flight technology with Mason's technology genius and Beck's showmanship made sense for you interpretation of Spider Slayer. It was a good explanation. I know Jameson and Spencer use the original Spider Slayer to try catch Pete, but glad you didn't go tat route, because it erase Jameson's lesson from Scorpion. Kingsley, Jason, and Ned together in one scene nice little homage to the Hobgoblin story arcs. Kingsley finally found Norman's Goblin equipment. I'm excited to see how the Hobgoblin story arc. Cameos from Brock and Kasady seem like foreshadowing of Venom and Carnage story in the future. I wouldn't be disappointed if Venom/Carnage showed up in season 4. A symboite storyline could used a break for a season, but that's ultimately your decision.

The famous Peter Parker luck strikes again. I feel bad for the guy. Aunt May thinks he takes pictures for a thrill, which is only going to worry her more. MJ coming to terms with the dangers he's in and upset of the hookups with Cat. Peter showing her pictures was not one of his better ideas. Harry seemed welling meaning and self-serving at the same time, which was good. It looks like he only wants to get Peter with either Liz or Mary Jane to keep him away from Gwen, but there seem some good intentions behind it as well. It's good to see Peter and Harry on good terms at the moment. Heaven knows it will probably only get worse in the future if Harry ever finds out the secret or if Gwen and Peter hookup. Liz, I feel horrible for her. I keep thinking she's going to be setup to get knocked down even harder by the mixed messages Peter is sending her and her own hopeful/misguided thoughts. It was another good chapter with juicy bits for the future. I can't wait for the next chapter and the surprise you talked about at the end of the chapter.

Great chapter. Feel sorry for Peter, seems like damn near everyone in this chapter (with the exception of Captain Stacy) is either pissed off at him, attempting to manipulate him, or just flat out trying to kill him. And Pete himself is clearly getting worn down by, well, everything. (Obviously he wasn't all there when he showed MJ the pictures of him with Black Cat)

The scenes with MJ and Liz were great. Especially the bit where MJ kicked her dad in the crotch. Go Red! Attack his weak points for massive damage!

One point I was a little fuzzy on: Is Harry intentionally trying to screw Peter over by sending Liz the flowers and stuff? Hope the situation actually works in Pete's favor, that'd be a nice change of pace.

Nice work on the fight scene this chapter, by the way. Very hectic and intense... also explosive.

I look forward to your future work!

You're really knocking these out, aren't you? Not that I'm complaining. Bit absentminded of Pete to just forget he'd photographed his tryst, but that'd still be plausible :) Good work!

I was happy when I saw you updated the story. DeWolff is a dirty cop who is working for Tombstone. I didn't see that one coming. It's one of those twists that makes you think just how much impact it has. Tombstone was untouchable before in SSM series. I wonder how much of that was due to DeWolff's aid. Someone close to a police captain probably helps you stay ahead of the cops. Although, I probably should have expected someone like the Big Man to have at least a dozen cops on the take from different precincts. I have to admit I didn't see fallout of Tombstone and Hammerhead playing out in the story at least not this season anyway. It serve as friendly reminder that Tomby is still out there and has some teeth left.

Don't worry about not trying to fit every character in your season 3 yet. It's important to remember that having all these characters while great can hinder your story if you loading a chapter with too many can weight your chapter down. You said you felt you neglected Doc Ock, but that's ok at this stage, because we had a lot of great Doc Ock stories in the actual series. If you can't think of a storyline for him that fits your season 3 it's ok to not have him in the season, because you have large variety of characters that it can carry on without Ock for a season. Little references or glimpses of him like you gave us in this chapter is enough to remind us he exist and will be used. Believe me people would much rather have Doc Ock or any villain return with a strong story over a forced story for the sake of having Ock in every season. This goes for every character.

The talk with George Stacy and having it spread out through out the chapter was once again perfect reproduction on what SSM did. Not only does it give us a good sense of what Peter is feeling, but also give us insight on his relationship with Captain Stacy. He's not just Peter's ally on the police force, but family almost since Peter and Gwen have been friends for so long. He's a anti-Norman. He is comforting and what's to help guide Peter in the right way, but unlike Norman there is no undertone of George trying to make Peter into his image. Chameleon is Calypso's brother in this series and they are going to Florida to make Connors' relapse into the Lizard to use against Spidey is my guess, but knowing you there is more to it then that. Spider-Cat dynamic continues to hold my interest. Her outburst of him webbing her up like some common thug surprised me. I thought Felicia still viewed this as a fling, but anger seemed to be directed at the fact he treated her as he does villains. Says she at least thinks their relationship is different or special at least. Peter is just a mess with all his thoughts on the ladies in his life coming out while he had sex with Cat. Another good chapter.

Third time's the charm for me trying to put up this review ;) The story feels good, better this time around than the last, like you had time to let it simmer some. Don't worry about trying to push out content for us, though I have missed your writing a lot. Hope to see this story go on for a long, long time.

I really love your story. It feels like a god honest continuation of the Spectacular Spider-Man. Your even using the Educating Peter Parker for naming your chapters and story arcs just as the series did. I check this website almost every week just to see if you updated the story. The tone is perfect. I can easily see Peter feeling and doing everything he's done so far in the actual series. His growing relationship with Mary Jane has been a high light. I was genuinely surprised when she found it he was Spider-Man, but you pulled it off well. Not only is she a valuable secret keeper, but provides Peter a source of comfort ad encouragement that he hasn't had in the series itself, because he had to keep his identity a secret. Flash is the right mix of bully for Peter and heart of gold that was hinted and shown in SSM. Kudos for capturing it. It is easy to forget Flash is a good guy deep down. I fully intrigued how you will reveal Peter and Flash's fallout as kids.

I love your Black Cat. She's ever bit as flirtatious and witty as I expect her to be. Her complicated love and hate relationship with Spidey has me on the edge of my seat. I have no idea if she will carry out her revenge on him or not. Her reaction to his age was priceless. It's only 3 year difference. Technically she is a legal adult, but 16 and 19 seems minor for that reaction to me, but that's just me. That's another relationship I'm interested how it turns out. With Peter/Liz, Gwen/Harry, Peter/MJ, Spider/Cat stuff it has me playing the guessing game in a good way.

The villains, what can I say you've hit out of the ball park again. One of the things I loved about SSM was that most of the major supervillains as small cameos first then bring them to their supervillain identity. Jack O'Lantern being one of Goblin's henchmen who re-modified his tech was good use of characters introduced in the series who could have easily been turned into this villain. Hobie's turn into Prowler I felt was good. Hobie wasn't given character development in the series before it was canned. I appreciated you interpreted his background and used it to enhance his transformation to the Prowler. Scorpion was a villain I was looking forward to seeing SSM. Glad to see him here. You're already setting up the Hobgoblin story arc with Roderick Kingsley taking over OsCorp. Dr. Warren has Peter's DNA. I'm wondering if this will lead to a Clone Saga in the near future or another season. It's just been a wonderful read really. I'm very eager to read how it unfolds. You are doing a great job. Your story isn't getting enough recognition. I wanted to write this review.

I liked where the story went, and there was a lot of content to it. But it felt a bit all-over-the-place and there were a ton of spelling mistakes this time around, unlike your older work.

Sorry to hear about your computer, I hope things will go more smoothly in coming months. I missed this story a lot, much like I missed the series it was based on.

Well he took some hits here so I hope in the next chapter things go better for Pete, also I hope you make Black Cat realize the dangers of pissing him off in her misguided attempts at payback...perhaps a nice bath in some gene cleanser will straighten her out, hmm?

Good to see you writing and sorry about what happened to your computer. I had something similar happen once and lost all my story data as well so I know how much that sucks.

Well, my favorite thing that occurred in this chapter was the Peter/Liz scene. I liked all the different emotions that the two were experiencing through it, and the way Liz seduced/manipulated Peter.

The Peter/MJ scenes were good as well.

So~, Kraven's dead eh? That kinda sucks. I'm not sure who I feel more sorry for, Calypso or Peter.

Gonna be interesting to see what the word is with Captain Stacy and Peter.

Keep up the good work! I look forward to more!

Hey, story is great, very well written, and has a good mix of Peter Parker drama and Spider-Man action very much like the show. Can't wait to read more.

This is easily one of the best fics i've ever written, to one of the greatest cartoons i've ever watched.

Its a damn shame that you don't have more people reading this. Damn shame.

Great chapter! It's always exciting to see an update from you. Also, you posted this on my birthday. I must say, truly a splendid gift.

You write Peter so well, it's honestly the continuation I could only hope for. Of course you write all the characters well, not just peter. In particular, it's nice to see Flash as a genuinely nice guy while maintaining his usual dislike of Peter. It's part of his personality that often gets forgotten. My only complaint is, and will always be, there is not enough Felecia Hardy. Joking aside, I do hope to see them meet up again soon.

    Until next time.

    Great chapter.

Liked the fight scenes and banter with the Prowler. Keep that up, you seem to have a good understanding of how Web-Head fights.

Loved the bit with the random New Yorker yelling Web-Hole at Spidey, BTW.

Character development was good all around. No complaints there.

So is there something else to that bit with Peter/Liz where chapter 3 left off? Felt just a little bit disconnected there.

So, big thing here that I would really like to know. The story description says this is gonna be a Peter/Gwen and Spidy/Black Cat fic. Now I don't mind Black Cat, but I honestly don't really like Gwen, particularly in the Spectacular Spider-Man. And this story has so far seemed more MJ/Peter/Liz, which I won't lie, is far more appealing to me, since MJ has been very well written and likeable so far in this, and Liz is sympathetic and, like I mentioned in a previous review, I really liked Spectacular's take on her character.

Now I'm not saying ignore Peter's relationship with Gwen or continuity from the show, and the last thing I would ever want to do is tell a writer what to do with his fic, but I would really like to know if this is gonna be just a Gwen/Peter thing, or if the other girls have any kinda shot in this. Don't need spoilers or anything like that, just if I actually have anything to look forward to in the romance department.

Great work, I look forward to more!
