I occasionally trawl this site looking for decent fics amongst the mountain of dross. I hit paydirt with yours. Wonderfully written, achingly evocative. I loved every syllable, every nuance, every raw emotion.

Beautiful fic. And it was a RoLo too. My favourite combination. :0)

I came across this randomly, bored and wanting something to read. I was not only entertained, but blown away. Anyone who can use the words aide-memoire and ouroboros in the same fic has my heart. You gave depth and meaning to the characters that was largely absent in the last movie. I love how you gave credence to Scott's grief, and made it real and tangible. I also adored your treatment of Ororo, and how you gave her back the strength she had been lacking. Her control and constant need for it is in conflict with her emotions. You portrayed that confusion very well. Can't wait to read more from you.

Beautiful, raw, delicate, intelligent, realistic, emotional.

A few words from the top of my head that describe your story there. I honestly can't do it justice with words. You are an amazingly talented writer and this was without a doubt the best short-fic that I have ever read. As simple as that. The five stars I give it don't do any justice either. There are mushy stories on this web written by teenage girls who have watched too many high-school movies...those stories tend to get a 5-star rating. The people that vote 5 stars there aren't thinking about top class writing like this. It's in a league of it's own and even though my official rating will be 5 stars...I will personally rate you the grade of 9.5 out of 10 possible. The 0.5 lacking on grounds of the mere possibility that I'll ever find something better in the world of fanfiction. I highly doubt it.

You don't think too much. You think just the right amount. You think enough to make the stories realistic, blunt and raw at the same time as being almost poetically beautiful.

By the way, I adore the lines from Breaking The Girl. I dislike the idea of 'songfics'...but this wasn't really it, besides, Breaking the Girl is my all time favourite Red Hot Chili Peppers song, you've got a good taste there :)

I salute you and truly hope you keep up your unique writing style...don't listen to any critics (though I can't imagine what they might possible have to say)
