Very nice, as usual :). Glad to see there's another reviewer now - knew it'd catch on at some point. Oh man but this was an emotional chapter... loved the churchie thing - been through the same thing with my grandparents - jeez, you quit going to church and they think you're a heathen *headdesk*. The Twinkie scene between Storm and Beast was perfection, I'm utterly jealous in the best of ways :D. Can't wait for the next chapter and damn but I hope Amanda and Hank meet soon...

You're probably getting tired of me starting my reviews this way all the time, but: AWWWW.
Okay, now for actualy observation ;). I really, really like how you've set this story up plot wise where we get to see Amanda's life and Hank's life juxtaposed at the same time, and how you show them being connected via Serena even if THEY aren't aware of it just yet. It's just delightful even if it is MADDENING having to wait for the two to meet, but on the other hand you've done a very good job of building anticipation and keeping it going without ticking off readers or becoming repetitive.
I adore your portrayal of Hank, I really do. I think the X3 movie was a great opener for fic writers because they gave just enough of him to get a feel for his personality but left enough out that writers like us can take over and build on it; I am enjoying the occasional hintings of the past romance with Storm (especially in this chapter - oooh, what trouble in paradise DID make them break up???), which is shocking for me :P.
And as for Amanda, kudos on a heroine that is mature and strong, but also very fun and lovable - factors that make us WANT to see her with Hank. :D
Can't wait to read he next chapter, but I know how busy things can get (in the middle of one of THOSE periods myself...) - great job :)

Congratulations, you did the impossible - brought up the hinted at past romance of Storm and Beast without making me see red (sorry, that pairing just annoys me for some reason... but somehow you made me not just tolerate it but actually have an 'aww' moment in the process; well done :).
Ya know, I don't know what's with me being the only reviewer either; I think all the other readers are just lazy - I mean, that counter thingie shows there's been near 400 people reading this - come on PEOPLE! Don't put it all on me... you know, fanfic writers like us don't make any money off of this kind of stuff and we take time out of busy lives to write this stuff out, the least readers can do if they LIKE it is TELL the author even if it's one sentence of acknowledgment!
*gets off soapbox*
okay, rant over, back to review.
Oooooh, Amanda a possible mutant (I say possible 'cause I know 'mystical' is another alternative like in my stories). Damn girl, tre' intrigue! Nice job... now I REALLY want to see Hank and her meet. Will be anxiously awaiting next update :D (and True Blue just got updated if you have time ;).

Living in a particularly health nut city and being a Hostess treats queen myself amidst several vegan friends, I totally enjoyed the banter with Annie and her sugar-free children, lol. Sorry I didn't review right away - the heaviest load of school has begun so it's hard to get on. Another winning chapter and I can't wait to see who's pulled over to get Serena O.O *gasps* bad guy or good guy??? Update soon ;D.

Oooh, cliffhangar!!! Wonderful chapter; I really like how you're using the e-mail to get across crucial plot points - it makes it more interesting cuts down the tediousness of explaining every single little thing, very nice. Hrm. Perchance Hank and Amanda will meet sooner than I thought? Great to know this also on ff.net - I'm going to recommend it to Bridget Chubb (if she hasn't found it already), the mod for a Beast C2 community... if you don't mind, of course. Also, I'm part of a Beast fan group at LiveJournal; do you mind if I post the link to this story on there to let them know it exists? The members are always starved for good Beast fics... sorry if I'm becoming annoying, I just love this story.
And is it just me or am I noticing some obsession with Logan's undies... or lack thereof? lol. Can't wait to see what happens!

*chuckles* Is it just me or does being Hank McCoy fan and a Phantom of the Opera fan just seem to kind of go hand in hand? I've always felt that 'squee' was one of the most annoying sounds in the world, but this chapter actually made me give one when I read that.
You know, there's a group on fanfiction.net that's trying to gather GOOD Beast fics and this would be right up there alley - have you considered posting this there under an 'M' rating? You have no idea how freaking thrilled I am to meet another Beast fic writer (and I intend to check out your Hellboy fics when I get some time!)! And this chapter rocked... oooh, yes, things are setting up quite nicely for this pair, aren't they, *hee*. I included my yahoo e-mail; ya ever want to chat on all things Beast or fanfiction, feel free to give me a buzz. If you're interested in other Beast fics, I have a couple on ff.net that aren't on here - I write under the pen name: the-sapphirelion on there. :D Thanks for another great chapter... I hope you know I'm neglecting my World's Religion homework for this but it is very much worth it. :)

Awwwww. This was cute and I really like Serena! My only complaint is that you're as cruel as I am with making readers wait for two characters together :/ hrmph, too-shay *however you spell that damn French word...*, I have tasted my own medicine and it is annoying, lol.
I think if you made a quick note in this story's blurb (or whatever the heck it's called that you see on the main page that describes the story) that there's going to be some Beast romance, you might get more readers and reviewers ('cause Lord knows you deserve them - though I write it, I don't read a lot of fanfic just 'cause there's so LITTLE Beast stuff out there that's good; finding this story has totally made my month). Just a quick 'Beast/OC' might help, 'cause if I hadn't started reading it, I never would have known he was in this story from the blurb and might have passed right on by... just a suggestion :). Great chapter.

Seriously though, great chapter. You have no idea how long I've been waiting to see a romantic Beast fic based off X3. I was afraid I was going to have to write one myself :P And actually I still might when my other ones are finished, but thankfully it's a VERY VERY different plotline from this one. *giggles* oooh, I just LOVE Amanda. And this chapter and Bobbi seriously need to come with a warning: 'Do Not Read When In Location That Does Not Allow Laughter'. I had to jam a pillow over my mouth to keep from waking everyone in the house up with my snorting laughter... oh, please keep regularly posting, this is getting too good. :D Can't wait to see how they finally meet!

Damn but you're eevil with that chapter witholding. OMG but this was a freaking great chapter! 'I've never wanted to be denim so badly before in my life' LMAO!!!! Oh, finally someone said what every straight female in the audience was thinking throughout X3!
I liked seeing Kurt involved again too... *big anime pleading eyes* and chance for a lil' Hank McCoy scenes down the line? Pretty please???
