I just had a thought. (Yes, I hurt myself) What if Kurt were a Monty Python fan? And,
just 'cause I'm wondering, he fell asleep watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail? After
all, last time he fell asleep Robin Hood was on, and look what happened.

Or maybe the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Kurt in fishnets, now there's an image.

My brother and the ducks have bonded. They sleep in his room with him. If it weren't slightly
disturbing, it'd be sweet. He looks like a lumpy big bird. I just worry about when he rolls
over. I see duck funerals in my future.

    Ja!

This is funny! Never knew you could do humor. Very good. Maybe you can at some point make Kurt think he's King Arthur. "We're knights of the round table! We dance when e'er we're able!"

Oh, I remember that cartoon. "Let me see here, where did I go wrong? Thrust, parry, jab . . . boing!"

We still need the Sherriff of Nottingham, though.

Nemain... have any of the ducks escaped? For some reason there happen to be ducks all over
the place here. My poor, you younger brother keeps sitting on them, among other things.
Do you know how to make the sauce for duck a l'orange?

Yes, I likes, and yes I'm still re-reg -ag -all- of them. I just finished 'The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter'.
I was considering leaving you some notes in response to certain notations at the end of the
chapters, but for some reason I keep losing all my mental notes. I keep making them and they
just up and disappear. Or I could blame the ducks.

    Ja,

I really like this so far. We had to read all about Don Quixote in one of my college english classes. This is gonna be great, keep it up! I really like your work, too, the last story was great too! :)

Very good. BTW, since you have firmly established the mu hos hospital of St. Dymphna's in your alternate unse wse will that be making an appearance here in an attempt to "fix" Kurt? Or did it get too mcuh exposure in the previous story? Keep in mind, I've never read "Man of La Mancha" myself.

Cool! The knock on-the-head gag's been used since before forever, but something tells me that you'll manuever it in a whole new way.

But how did Jean find them down there, without the whole mansion being woken up? And Kurt is a native German speaker, so I would think his fantasy personality would be talking in German rather than English.

A suggestion, though. Perhaps the knock on the head -- was a distraction for the real cause of the memory problems.
