Wow! This was an amazingly well done story. You captured the characters perfectly. The build up was great, the sex was great, everything was just awesome. You really outdid yourself with this one. Can't wait to see what you have in store for your next story.

Very, very good story. When it comes to the X-men my favorite has always been Cyclops so this was definitely a good read for me. I like all the details you worked in about Scott's character and the differences between his future and past versions, how Laura appreciates the good things about both versions of him and how she feels he can become a different man from his future self in the important ways simply by holding on to his optimism and such.

Other than that, I just really appreciate the good writing here, the attention to detail and character, the chemistry between Scott and Laura, the great build up and pay off, etc. Just damn good work all around. I'll have to make sure to take a look at some of your other work after this.

Now this was wonderful. Really scratched the itch for this couple.
You even improved in the "hanky-panky" category.
Hard to believe it's only been a couple of days.

I enjoyed this one shot making take place after that hug part of the comics really helped to sell this event as you could lead into it with this kind of thing. Plus I also liked the little things like the similarities between the younger and older Scott were made. Plus Laura's own past as a prostitute used to help with sex instead of being a drawback. Something I kind of wished they had tried more with Stacy-X before they killed her off. The two worked well in this story and the sex scene was done well too, the lead up into it I think was handled very well.

That was beautiful. I don't say that lightly. It really was, in the sense that it was more than just raw lust between Laura and O5!Scott, more of a need to connect, to bond, to find some greater meaning than what they could achieve alone, and I'm very happy that at least here, they found it in each other. Scott's changed a lot since his early days, a lot of those changes not being exactly for the better and in a way reflecting how the X-Men have changed over the years from those early days. Seeing this young, unsullied version of himself, who hasn't hardened himself yet to the ways of the world he lives in and compromised his ideals for the sake of surviving in this world, finding a connection in Laura, who despite her own tragedies has never stopped trying to find something to believe in and hold onto, was a very heartwarming experience, and I don't say that about a lot of adult fics I read. I'm looking forward to what more you can do with this pair in the future.
