WOW. This is a powerful story you are writing. It touches on very raw and sensitive issues without fear and your imagry is incredible, I have no trouble finding my way into the world you have built. I stayed up from 10 least night till 6 this morning just reading it before I went to bed, and returned at 11am to finish. It's now 2pm and even though I have already spent 11 solid hours reading this wonderful piece, I find myself longing for the next chapter to be posted so I can read more. You have done a wonderful job on this story, I truly mean this. If I actually bother to review a fanfiction most times it was because I was mildly entertained and was curious about the next installment, but you have blown me away with the power of your work. This is the first review I have been compelled to write in a very long time that wasn't 'please update soon.' I truly enjoy this story, I am amazed at how well you have written it and I thank you for writing it in the first place. I'm normally not too much of a Kurt/Kitty fan since I see them more almost as siblings in alot of cases and in alot of fictions they seem to be immature and just blindly fooling around. It is very refreshing to see actual mental and emotional 'growing up' as they go through these ordeals and trials and not just stay emotional robots throughout the entire thing whispering 'I'm gonna survive.' Your characters tell me something alot more powerful and meaningful, they seem to literally be screaming 'I am changing, I will adapt, and I will LIVE. You cannot break me.' I do not know where or how you got the inspiration to write this but I'm very glad you did. I am going to send a link to your story to some of my friends who I know will also love it and I will be checking back quite often to read more. Ten stars.

God...came back to this site for the first time in months - between RL and modding a very active RP I've been entirely away from fanfic for so very long, sadly - and found 18 chapters of this waiting for me. Managed to wade past the guilt of flaking on you to read and remembered exactly why I loved this so much when you first posted it on Scrawlers. Gonna have to go back over there and wade through all the comments so I can read through where you stopped posting since I'm not patient enough to wait for it to show up here. Think I've even caught a few of your tweaks thus far, really enjoying it ever so much again and I hope you're still chugging away at it! I'll definitely be back to read any updates you post here....god, I might actually be motivated to get my behind in gear and get back to my own fic. So need to. Anyway, so glad you're posting this here!

this is a good story. I have been anxiously waiting for you to have more chapters done. I am wondering if in the future, the "trainers" are going to try to reverse the sterilization on them to breed them...

looking forward to the next chapters and to see if a resistance such as wolvie will be forthcoming.

    Great Job!

Aaaahhh! Thank you so much - really nice to see the whole story back again. Great writing in this, so it was a shame to see so much of it missing. Now I'm off to read it again!

I was looking all over for this! I remember it from way back in the day on Nightscrawlers - still one of the best and most ambitious fanfics I've ever had the pleasure of reading.

Not to be a pest... but parts of the story seem to be missing from each chapter. At least, I remember reading bits that don't seem to be there now: like Kurt and Kitty's first meeting, Kurt finding the hole in the side of the carrier, and Kurt's first mission. Looks like it might be a website problem, though. If you're still updating, it would really make me very happy if all those bits were added again *sad eyes*

Love this story! I'd love to make it to the ending when Kurt and Kitty's love crushes the evil bastards of SHIELD!

Whoa. I remember seeing this on FF.net a while back, but this is not the story I remember. I have a feeling this is going to be better, though, so that's not in any way a complaint. I feel bad for Kurt already, and the surgery scenes made me cringe and get twitchy about organs I don't even have. *blink* I am looking forward to seeing where you go with this now that it's on AFF; hope to see more soon.

I remember following this story on NightScrawlers. I see you only have the first few chapters here though. Will you be continuing and finishing this anytime soon?
